Don’t have a mesh grill for your wide body kit, just head to Home Depot and make your own! Makes it look to easy building those cars by yourself! Keep up the great content! Two sickest evo 10’s out there!
Get. Rid of the bluetooth module in the back of the glove compartment. It fixed my issue

Those headlights are so sick bro. Optima is owned by Johnson Controls Inc. now who sells all batterys everywhere. All our autopart stores in Wa have them. Walmart is the best warranty on them if your gonna buy a Johnson. I use odyssey extreme batterys in cars and or Full River Agm marine batterys. They are legit like optima was 6 to 10 years

Hey devin, im.pretty sure the amp draw is coming from the oem bluetooth module, its behind the glove box on the top part, that module goes bad on lancer/evo, goes hot creating a short circuit.
Those headlights are sick! But those headlights aren't bad for a price, I'm getting headlights for my STI that I can change the color of the gills and halos and the headlights are like 1800 for a set lol I love your widebody orange Evo though! Also you can get that mesh on Amazon for cheap!

should check the alternator again and rev up the car as you do it to make sure the voltage regulator is still ok and working. if the battery is swelling it could be over charging meaning the regulator isn't capping the charge @14.4 v it could be going 18v. I believe it's 4000 rpm an above that the voltage out put should be capped to 14.4v.
Thats what i thought too. I rewound to when he checked the battery and paused it, there is a glare right after the decimal point so its hard to tell BUT im pretty sure that says 14.68V at idle…. Pretty sure thats only going to increase as you put a load on the car, so i think he is overcharging his battery. Also the swelling too as you pointed out.

Its recommended to cover electrical parts before spraying in the engine bay. Devin never does it so maybe he knows sumthin we don't lol 😂

I will have to go on the website and see if these headlights will work on a 2020 STI.
I’ve found my optima batteries don’t like 14+ volts. My alternator puts out 13.6-13.8 and they last now. I have a charger that has a restore setting and it eats optimas. I got a optima charger and it will cycle up to 14 but just for a few minutes then it charges at 13.8. It’s maintainer holds at 13.6 at low amps.
EDIT: I checked today and both my cars are at 14.4 volts running. Looking back I used to get 6-7 years out of a yellow top optima. My last 2 were both dead after 3 years. So it looks like you were right as usual when they got bought out the quality went down. I guess I’ll be putting in genesis battery’s until lithium’s get a bit cheeper. $800 for an anti-gravity lithium is to expensive unless your running a race car and want to save the weight.

I've had these headlights for a couple weeks haven't seen anyone else with em in rgb till now lol.but idk if u'll have this problem or not.but the rgbs sometimes get stuck on a color when it gets too hot under the hood.

Worse customer service ever. They sent tailights instead of these headlights. And when they did send the headlights, they didn’t send the harness. Talked on the phone for about 4 hours just to be told to refund the whole assembly and re order. As if I would go through that again.
“They’re pretty expensive” made me check the price….. honestly, that’s not bad at all🤣 I’m looking at $1600-$1800 for circuit demons right now😅
