It's amazing how far and wide across the globe the influence of the music from that humble little band from Topeka Kansas has stretched not to mention how long it has endured and still showing no sign of losing its impact on music lovers young and old alike...Screw those halls of fame...Kansas is in a class all by themselves...
Chapeau!! :-)
2:40 Love how you play that fugue bridge in the studio, out of this world! Outstanding arrangement and solo with same passage live! Congratulations! Keep up the awesome work!
Eure Version ist dem Original absolut ebenbürtig, das Arrangement in einigen Details sogar stimmiger. Jedes Mal, wenn ich Euch höre, fühle ich mich beschenkt!
This is sublime. Vocals are freaking awesome on par with Robbie and Steve .. and then some. I always wished for an unplugged version of this song.. And I found it!
Second time I'm commenting on your interpretation of Kansas songs (The Pinnacle was the other). Your ability to create truly unique versions of these already great songs is impressive. Glad to see that you are introducing a new audience (as evidenced by their premature applause) to this music that I've known since the mid-70s.
Absolutely fantastic, beyond fantastic, out of this freak'n world!! I know there are a few "tribute" bands for Kansas out there, but none of them, none of them are half as talented as you are nor do they capture the essence of the original songs as you do, with just your voices and guitar. Bravo, Bravo Bravo.
On a crystal morning I can see the dewdrops falling Down from a gleaming heaven, I can hear the voices call When you comin' home now, son, the world is not for you
Tell me, what's your point of view?
Hey there, Mister Madman, what you know that I don't know Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away
Tell me, what made you that way?
Here I am, just waiting for a sign Asking questions, learning all the time It's always here, it's always there It's just love and miracles out of nowhere
Tell me now, dear mother, what's it like to be so old Children grown and leavin', seems the world is growin' cold And though your body's ailin' you, your mind is just like new
Tell me, where you're goin' to?
It's so simple, lying right before your eyes If you'll only look through this disguise It's always here, it's always there It's just love and miracles out of nowhere Love and miracles out of nowhere
I sang this song a hundred, maybe a thousand years ago No one ever listens, I just play and then I go Off into the sunset like the western heroes do
Tell me, what you're gonna do?
Here I am, I'm sure to see a sign All my life I knew that it was mine It's always here, it's always there It's just love and miracles out of nowhere Love and miracles out of nowhere Out of nowhere
Ausgezeichnet! Spitze! I would never have imagined it was possible to make the fugue part of the song sound good with solo guitar, but you proved me wrong. I hope come to the States sometime. Danke schön for covering my favorite song so well.
Absolutely incredible version of an amazing song! No mean feat to pull off a Kansas song with acoustic guitar, percussion and voice. Very impressive, indeed!
Thank you all the band too. I know It's been cut back in numbers this time. You are amazing performers. I loved that album and song so much when I first heard it in (I'm guessing) 1976. It's an amazing era and you are all so great in re-creating, no matter what you do.
Kansas is one of my fav. bands and I read they're coming to Germany this summer (good for you). Unfortunately not near my place/country. Anyway, brilliant music (as ever). I hope to see you live sometimes too :-)
Really love the way you minimized all of the instruments into a single guitar, this acoustic version is outstanding, and her vocals perfectly fit the song, Love from Sri Lanka!
Impressive cover, perfect guitar technique, beautiful vocals and awesome live performance. I have nothing to say more. Thank you man :) Greetings from Istanbul, Turkey 👍🏻
Weiter so ;)
Hey 😊😊 Danke vielmals. Mit Tabs arbeite ich tatsächlich gar nicht. Ich arrangiere alles am Instrument mit meinem Scale- und Theorie Know How und dem Gehör. Von daher leider nicht 😔
Good voicing, great guitar - but where are some other instruments? It sounds very shallow and incomplete compared to what is in the original. Couldve been way better just by adding more instruments. Shame.
If you are just a Band with 4 people you can only play a minimal Nummer of instruments at the same time. The other idea is making it different to the original. We sometimes play this song only with one guitar and two vocals. And it works really well. Different but well.

Thank you so much Dana!! 😊😊 You are so kind

Genius! Make sure Kerry Livgren sees this.
Amazing performance, guys! Such a beautiful and mind-blowing adaptation! Martin, your guitar skills are truly impressive.

I loved this song back when I was a teenager. I still love it. Very cool version you did.
Thank you so much Marty! Did you already the our versions of Song For America, The Pinnacle, Point Of Know Return and With This Heart? ☺️
This is sublime. Vocals are freaking awesome on par with Robbie and Steve .. and then some. I always wished for an unplugged version of this song.. And I found it!
Thank you so much Bruce! ☺️
Really love how just the three of you (on this piece and others) create a sound that is so full!
War live dabei. Es war ein wunderbares Konzert.
I really love how yours and Melanie's voices work so perfectly together! Love your playing!
Danke für den wunderbaren Abend in Osterode und schön, dass man die Songs hier noch einmal hören kann.

Yes, that's why this is called an ACOUSTIC cover!
