I'm always going to be there for more Starstruck. It has been a close companion for the last fourty years. Probably the most important piece of media I have devoured. Still regret I was too slow to get to see the play. Thanks for boosting the Zazzle site, my old shirt is long lost to time and finding Starstruck merch has been hard. Thanks for generating more material in my favorite universe.
I haven't seen the season yet, but I've seen some clips, and I really like the idea of Lou's character going from "I've never been arrested, but I did get a stern talking to once for swimming where I wasn't supposed to" to wearing sunglasses and screaming "THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS" while happily swindling 4 random people out of all their money xD
Anyone else love that tiny opening animation change on episode three? Love this new ultra chaotic gang of characters, like everyone’s playing season one Fig
I've watched/listened to almost every season of dimension 20 and I have to say Dropout is COMPLETELY worth it I know we're all sick of streaming services but I do really recommend this one. A Starstruck Odyssey is so joyous and funny and hopeful and amazing, the combination of Elaine's world building, Brennan's dming, and the whole cast just firing on all cylinders the ball just keeps rolling up and every episode gets better and better
Remember the filler episode of Bebop where they get attacked by the alien parasite because they never cleaned out the fridge? That's basically the ending right there. I laughed my ass off.
For those hesitant to still get dropout. I assure you, THIS is worth it. No spoilers, but if you enjoy a rag tag group who successfully fk over a DM SOOOOO many times while still having a captivating setting and intriguing story- this. This is it. Kudos. Literally only started watching 4 days ago as a means to learn to DM but have already consumed somewhere in the region of 25 hours of campaigns. Brennan you are a gift to the D&D community
Brennan has officially inspired me to become a dm for a couple friends of mine! I love how much creative freedom he allows. I've had some pretty boring dms and it sucks!
For the last like, six months or something, I hunted down the Starstruck comics, as they were recommended to me by other comic book enthusiasts (I'd just been binging on Moebius) and so I dug into them. Then, literally as this campaign was announced, I read the last issue of one of the more recent series (the 2009 or something, I think), and there was Brennan's face in it! And then I google, and it turns out his mother is the creator of the Starstruck play and comics! And THEN I find out Dimension 20 is doing a Starstruck-themed campaign. Super weird and cool.
Fantasy high has been my favorite Dimention 20 series from the beginning, but I have a feeling this one may top it. I'm so excited to see where this season goes :)
I love that their space ship looks like a hot dog. And that ceo didn't know what he was talking about, the multi tool is great, so long as the interface is practical. Is it as good as a single tool? Not for big jobs, but it's very handy for many small jobs. Considering they're trying to combine a pleasure bot, with a bodyguard, gun hands might be a problem though.

This definitely deserves more appreciation!
That gunny backstory, the music, the questioning of life goals... That was just beautiful
I hope Captain Dan Scrap makes another appearance. One of the most hilarious NPC's I've ever seen. He definitely has a 20 charisma.
For a price of a generous amount of pleasure putty you can purchase dropout for $6/month and feel like your own boss with bosses that feel like their own boss as well.

Brennan is like any other dm nerd really, but where they have an 8 charisma, he's sitting at an easy 25
lol
And that's without adding his bonuses.
Also Int 18 for all the weird encyclopedia knowledge
8 charisma if we're lucky; he's 25 on his worst day.
Watching this again on youtube bc why the hell not, this season is only 2 episodes in and it’s so much fun chaos. In case anyones on the fence - highly recommend dropout to watch this live ! And also for all the other wonderful seasons they haven’t uploaded on youtube yet.
Sundry Sidney's character introduction will go down in Dropout history as, perhaps, the greatest of all time. Emily is just an absolute peach blast of delight and Brennan definitely had so much fun with that scene.
The fact the Elaine Lee is Brennan's mom makes so much sense! It explains so much about him
“You rent your ability to live” most accurate statement for anyone living with a disability ever
barry 6 vs
barry 9.
i love this simple but effective joke.
Nice
Oh god...
I love how much this group obviously cares about eachother.
Wow. Wow. Wow. Best season of d20. I love this group of intergalactic bozos.
I'm just in love with Sidney's accent. Emily, what are you doing to my poor little heart?
I've watched/listened to almost every season of dimension 20 and I have to say Dropout is COMPLETELY worth it I know we're all sick of streaming services but I do really recommend this one. A Starstruck Odyssey is so joyous and funny and hopeful and amazing, the combination of Elaine's world building, Brennan's dming, and the whole cast just firing on all cylinders the ball just keeps rolling up and every episode gets better and better
I love that Brennan got to use his CEO breaking down voice on dimension 20.
I literally paused to look at the character designs for like five minutes they’re so good I can’t wait to see them in action
The opening has powerful Cowboy Bebop energy in the best way possible
Yeah, with a dash of Firefly and Guardians of the Galaxy as well.
Remember the filler episode of Bebop where they get attacked by the alien parasite because they never cleaned out the fridge? That's basically the ending right there. I laughed my ass off.
This is the one for me! My favourite escapism is sci-fi; Firefly, Cowboy Bebop, Andromeda, Red Dwarf, the list goes onion.
I still can't believe how GREAT episode 1 of this arc is and then episode 2 HAD ME CRY TEARS OF LAUGHTER AND WAS EVEN BETTER 😂😂
Love how Ally's voice is breaking when they laugh, congrats mate!
This is such a great way to start a campaign. Right into the action but still with time to explain everyone's backstory and motivation.
For those hesitant to still get dropout. I assure you, THIS is worth it. No spoilers, but if you enjoy a rag tag group who successfully fk over a DM SOOOOO many times while still having a captivating setting and intriguing story- this. This is it. Kudos. I plead eagerly they spin this off as much as Fantasy High was.
They take more BIG swings in this season than all other DnD shows combined 😂 I love it
Operation Slippery Puppet!
These characters are GEMS. This might finally be the series to get me to buy Dropout
These main characters are incredible, and the fact Brennan is able to make the countless he plays feel just as fleshed out is iconic.
I love ally so much and I love that we got to see the transformations they have gone thru from fantasy high, the unsleeping city, and everything else to lead to this and its amazing
Brennan's natural ability to pull you into every scenario he imagines is legendary.
Brennan is a phenomenal and multi talented GM. Bravo to him, the players, and the production crew.
Literally only started watching 4 days ago as a means to learn to DM but have already consumed somewhere in the region of 25 hours of campaigns. Brennan you are a gift to the D&D community
Brennan just couldn't pass up the opportunity to play a disappointed ceo once again...
Just finished the Deadeye arc of naddpod. Handy Annie warms my heart.
Love this crew -- and the fun they're having is mad infectious. I realized 8 mins in that I'd been smiling the whole time.
I just started playing Outer Worlds for the first time, this is fitting perfectly with the setting and humor and stuff.
That's one of my favorite games! And I fully agree, this game very much fits the vibe, with the whole mega-corporate comedy-dystopia vibe.
Brennan has officially inspired me to become a dm for a couple friends of mine! I love how much creative freedom he allows. I've had some pretty boring dms and it sucks!
The pleasure putty MLM had me and Emily BOTH dying, oh nooooo Riva
00:29:00 my absolute favorite moment out of Dimension 20 which has me seriously considering getting a Dropout subscription
THREE NAT 1S
AMAZING HAIR
HOTDOG SPACESHIP
IM SO HYPED RN
I would 1000% watch a game show where celebrities dip themselves in paint and you have to decide which celebrity is under the paint.
I started watching, Made it halfway through, and suddenly remembered: Wait, I'm already subscribed to DropOut.. Imma go watch it over there..
Loving it so far..
When I couldn't read Lou's pc name quick enough in the titles, I immediately knew it was gonna be a wild ride.
Came from watching on Dropout to comment that I love the energy of the Intrepid Heroes in this season! So cool to be in such a crunchy sci-fi universe + touched by Brennan DMing a game in his mom's universe. The talkback/Adventuring Party on Dropout are killer too. Thanks for making this and putting it out into the world--can't wait to watch the new episode released today!
What an incredible session 0.
The man is a story telling wizard.
Of the greatest magic of all.
I can't believe more people haven't commented on the incredible artwork! Does a lot for the tone-setting.
I love this spaceship full of enthusiastic bozos so much ❤️ Me yelling excitedly at my TV every episode so far! Dropout has always been so worth it, and somehow, more and more worth it with every season. Amazing work Brennan, Intrepid Heroes, and crew!
