I have a AMD FX8350 CPU WITH MSI 990FXAGD80 BOARD which has a pcie x16 gen 2 slot and want to install a NVME SSD 1 TB on it. What adapther should I buy to get the best speeds for read/write and OS boot ?
Bina socho ham log mootherbord lete hai fir ye sab karana hotaa hai mere 450 asrock me 2 slot hai lekin koi fatada nahi ak hi speed ka or m 2 bas hai... Adopter lagana hoga

If you use pcie x4 x8 or x16 Adapter then you will get full speed that is certified from brand for nvme ssd
Yes but your all pice slots are same generation usually x4 and x16 slot generation different most of motherboard’s
Pci 16 Wale me log gpu laga rakhe hote hai
full size Pci x16 card hoga toh x16 slot me hi 3000+ read/ Write full speed milta hai

No, just create a boot entry using bcd in cmd targetting that ssd and Boot normally, no need of pen drive or any other bootloader.

If you install NVME in gen 2 slot then there will be no special benefit in speed, Sata SSD will be better than this

Did this converter break my M2 SSD? It went raw and never came back. So it doesn't work exactly stable.

No, natively BIOS doesn't recognize it as a boot drive

@ultimategameshading now I'm using crucial sata SSD which give me 3000mbps speeds with momentum chache . It works perfectly and fast.

@@itzprem09 not full speed but you will get enough speed don't worry, far way more than m.2 sata. Just give it a try
