This is not an antidote, but how to avoid.

It's surprising how little useful insight there is on the media. I feel like such an important question deserves a serious and thoughtful answer. The speaker seems passionate but her talk is mostly vapid.

The antidote of regret, of course, gratitude.
Doing wrong things isn't wrong as long we learned the lesson.

I have watched several Tedx talks on this and they all seem to be about avoiding regret, and to some extent say "if you have things you already regret, you're screwed." Thanks a lot guys. (Eyeroll)

Awesome, I really loved this talk. If you don't ask, the answer is always No! If you ask, then at least you have a 50% chance of success. I'm going to be asking more, what do i have to lose? not much. I've got more to gain and I also avoid the regret.

Awesome talk Kim! Thank you for living your life in a way that YOU (and only YOU) are responsible for the results. Taking action and not blaming others for "how easy they have it" or focusing on things we cannot change is easy to do. Being bold, brave and going after what you want is a harder (and much more worthy) route! Thank you for stepping on stage to share your story and make a positive dent in the world!

Regret about things done can last years-a lifetime. I have one deep regret that gave me PTSD. I wish it would have taken only weeks or months to go away. No one will ever understand the weight of the pain I have to carry every day.

Kim, you are a wonderful, inspiring person. I think it's common to compromise passions because of fear--fear of failure, fear of being different, fear of how friends/family/society will perceive our actions--and this video is an important reminder that life is too valuable to let those fears control our decisions. Be bold!

It looks like she quit selling products to gov agencies in order to start her own marketing and sales company. She is a Tim ferris disciple. She created a business that let's her work 4 hours a week and moved overseas to get a lower cost of living. Go read Tim ferris

Sorry but a lot of this is all WRONG. The more you play, the more you lose. But you WIN more than someone who rarely or never plays. Obviously, that's just the logics of odds. Of course a "Safe Vanilla" Life is nonexpansive & rather dull.
But do we need Kimberly here to tell us that??? No.
The thing is, NOT ALL BOLD Risk Takers are Happy. Not ALL people who do what they want or Pursue their Dreams are Happy.
With more Risk comes more Rewards, SOMETIMES, BUT Also more RISK and Dangerous Situations.
As humans if we are never satisfied we will end up searching for more more more.
As someone who has taken most risks in my life, there's a lot i am happy i did, but A LOT i wish i COULD do differently
And in the end you realize there is SO MUCH you want to take back, redo or undo.

      Well yes, that's called determination?
If you "play more", sure you'll be "lose more". But, the point is to hit our aim. How can you willing to success but not to fail? We're human ( '-')
But even, losing is ok because we've done it (that's the whole point in this session). Those loses also teaches us anyway.
