  • Here's a timelapse of a quick marker pen rendering. It took about 45 minutes to complete and can be seen here in a fraction of the time.
    If you're feeling generous, I'd very much appreciate the support - www.buymeacoff... - thank you very much!

    This is fantastic!
    It’s those white highlights which really made the drawing look realistic and 3rd dimensional👌

    I would really appreciate if you would specify which pens and shades you are using!

      Rinnia Hi, it’s the range of Copic pens, C3-C10 & 100 Black. I also use a white pencil crayon (Staedtler Glasochrom 108 20-0. Also a black pencil crayon and various colours for the lense of the camera. Hope this helps.

    What kind of paper did you use? Do the markers bleed through? And, it looks like you use the chisel tip, whereas many others prefer the brush tip. When do you use each tip? Looks great!

      You can find marker pen paper from art shops and online. It’s bleed proof. I tend to use the biggest/widest tip available on my videos to demonstrate working quickly and in most videos (but less so this one), how to work without too much precision, ie to concentrate efforts upon creativity rather than to allow ourselves to be bogged down being too careful.
      Broadly speaking, I would use big tips for quick work and use the smaller ones for accuracy when producing presentation work. Hope this helps.

    Do you recommend a particular set of pens for doing this kind of thing?

    • @productdesignermaker
      @productdesignermaker  5 років тому +1

      Mark Langford I can really recommend Copic Markers (you’ll find them online). They are really easily refillable and have a fine end in addition to the chisel end. There are a few different models of the Copic pens so have a close look if you’re choosing which to buy. I’m uploading a ‘basics’ video later today.
