I had a very painful implant put in about 1 1/2 years ago.now it is not working. I pump about 6 pumps and pump goes flat , does not refill. The surgery was very painful for many months after. The doctor had talked about replacing the unit but at that time the pain was too great and I wasn't going to much through it again. So I just stopped seeing him now that it is quit working I've got to decide to see him or someone else. In your opinion what should I do

Is age 80 years and a prostate removal a negative for a penile implant?
From some of the testimonies I have read online, you are not disqualified for an implant. In fact, you are a prime prospect for having an implant.
How much length will be lossed
maybe 1/2" at most.
You will lose up to 1/2" per year from ED. The longer you wait, the more you will lose. The procedure itself does not cause loss of length -typically. There has been a study that shows that using a Vacuum Erection Device after surgery can help to regain up to about an inch after recovery from implantation.
I have lost about 2" since experiencing ED. I had my surgery yesterday and will look to start the therapy after the doctor gives me the "ok". While I will be happy to regain any of my previous length back, I am happy with the idea of having a reliable erection at will

@@wasimahmed1570, thanks for asking. Six months in and I couldn't be happier. I was not able to use the penis pump as I had wanted to due to my girth being too large for the cylinder. I have gained back a good bit of my length by cycling my device twice a day for about 15 minutes (or longer). Sex has been great and my partner has nothing but praise for it. The only "problem" that I am having is delayed ejaculation, but I don't really consider that to be too much of a problem. I will continue cycling and using to see if I can get back to the size of my youth, but if I don't, I am happy with where I am now (about 6"). If I had to do this again, I would. My only regret is not doing it sooner in life.

I have experienced no negatives in regards to oral sex. If anything, it's better because I am more erect and more sensitive than when I had ED.

Because of the anesthesia, my father had to drive me home. I suppose I could have driven myself if I had stayed in the hospital longer.
