Russia has given Zelensky every opportunity to make peace not only from the outset of its military intervention but Russia spent many years trying to avoid a conflict with Ukraine through diplomatic efforts to have Ukraine stop their shelling and missile strikes on the population of the Donbass region!

The podcast is delivered with a touch of British cynicism. A typical anti-Russian tone, which is an echo of the Great Game. U.K. but also Europe's foreign policy towards Russia should be seen through this prism. Afterall, France & Brittain went to war against Russia in Crimea in 1854 and threatened another war in 1874. Germany tried twice as have other nations. No lessons have been learnt. Instead, we hear a lot of sabre rattling by EU leaders about the benefits of breaking Russia apart into smaller states. While US congressman Lindsay Graham rubbing his hands with glee that "We got Ukraine for only $115 billion" promising US businessmen $10 trillion in mineral resources.

China is prepared to cooperate with Russia and the international community to promote common and sustainable security; the Chinese Foreign Ministry told Ria Novosti on Monday.
The ministry emphasized that China and Russia, both permanent members of the UN Security Council, bear significant responsibility for maintaining global and regional stability.
Moreover, China expressed its readiness to support the Global Security Initiative and address security interests through dialogue and consultation.

A “boarder” suggests there are two (or more) involved.
It could be that one country wants to split, or two countries want to swap aras for administrive reason for example, but there is a discussion, an agreement met.

Zelenskyy did March 2022 offer to give those regions the vote on if they want independence from Ukraine , but Putin ignored him because he had lied about his true intentions and at the time was not interested in a dialog with Zelenskyy.

Head of Rosatom, Lihachev, is not in North Korea with Putin. He joined the summit via video connection. Hence western fears that Russia will assist North Korea 's nuclear program are likely groundless.

The threat to NATO isn’t a second Trump term (US defense funding never dropped during his presidency) but rather what Obama referred to as “Freeloaders”.
Well, it is a threat if trump refuses to provide further aid to Ukraine, because a Russian victory in Ukraine will put NATO under greater threat of Russian invasion, testing article 5, and possibly cracking without US leadership. Both trump and freeloaders are potential threats.

Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov shared on Monday that Russia and North Korea are expected to sign a comprehensive strategic agreement during President Vladimir Putin's visit to Pyongyang this week.

It seems bit unhealthy and ineffective to continue to target a bridge which is no longer a military target and would waste long range weapons on something that does not help the war effort. We should not commit war crimes just because Russia does or because we have a bridge obsession, especially when that will use up precious long range weapons that could be more effectively targetted against say those military ferries.
