As a teacher at a school in Namibia, it was amazing to have Ellen in our midst today. I know her story touched our learners. It's never too late, there's hope for the African child.
Good on you, Azania M, for handling this interview with the greatest empathy and professionalism possible! Big ups to the producer of a brilliant, captivating and heart-wrenching movie! Lastly [but not least], Ellen is a strong woman! Love and Light to her. Hope she receives the healing she deserves and I hope this movie penetrates the minds of all audiences and makes a difference.
Wow It must take a really strong and courageous women like yourself Ellen to have to go through what you did and still live to tell the story of how you struggled to survive under the long lived abuse you endured by your own son, and yet your story has gone to inspire so many different people from all over the world who is alike. As a young new mother I only now fully understand the humongous responsibility and depth of what it is like to raise a child in this day and age with all that is happening in and around the world we live in as this is no walk in the park. but I can only imagine what you had to tolerate for 6 years in real life this must of been exhausting, especially after learning the unconditional love a mother is blessed with for their child. But as a levelheaded human being I also know that any other rational caregiver being it a (mother, father or grandparent) going through those especially difficult and life threatening times has to have at some period in their lives a breaking point and that, that breaking point during such instances does no longer have to question whether you going to lose your cool or not but when and how. This biography was a clear attestation of how you Ellen had to became a victim in the hands of your own Childs senseless decision making. Suffering and having to defend yourself against the monster your son had became after using the drugs he was introduced to oh may god forgive him and may his soul rest in eternal peace amen.. As it only takes an intelligent and mature person to truly understand the nature of this story and fortunately that is what the judge was in this situation an insightful and a mature being. I too feel heartbroken for what had happened but you need to understand what Ellen had to go through first to get to that point in her life but what I am most saddened by is what she had go through and do just to have some tranquility in her life. In conclusion to all the above I do not think its the mother nor the son that was culprit of this evil but the drug that became a living evidence of the devils work.. I have got one last message one for the drug dealers and another for all the people wanting to experiment with drugs and other substances alike let this be a lesson one can teach and learn from and if you cant afford to help uplift someone don't help by destroying what they can or may have become. We love you Ellen never let anyone take what you have away from you stay strong blessed and remember only God can judge what you have all ready been through
They are people...before the drugs......we are people and we are so clever.....we judge...….and we need to look down on to others to get a feeling of self worth and we need status and money and we need to satisfy our natural urges and with all of this we create pills and tik because we can get no satisfaction...so after the rapes, the drugs and the murders are we still people. THANK YOU ELLEN AND ALL WHO SPRED THE MESSAGE THAT IT TAKES A COMMUNITY TO CREATE THE LIVES THAT ARE LIVED. ELLEN YOUR POWER OF FORGIVING HAS STRUCK AN INNER CORD WITH ME. lots of love
