@@ExocagedRC That would be nice. I am looking at replacing my gatekeeper transmission with that one. I have had a good experience with my Amazon cheap dig. I just stripped, shimmed, greased, trimmed, and added locktite. It has been acceptable, not $200 great, but $60 "it works".....

I run that exact castle setup in my Capra and I love it. I played with the throttle curve a bit to tone down the power and it’s perfect for what I do with it.
Just fitted one of these dig units to my scx10 based caged beast along with some aliexspress wraith axles and it seems to work well but as with all things from China make sure all the bolts are tight because ln my excitement to get it fitted I forgot and the 3 bolts holding the spur gear on came lose and locked the gearbox up and stripped the teeth of the pinion gear not a problem when your at home but I was over a mile away and as the truck is full metal and weighs close to 8 1/2 lb not so much fun. Love your channel always very informative keep up the good work

This is my dream build! (with respect to my own customizations.) I love having an "analog" dial with a center bump for my rear steer as well as all the standard preset modes. Love the dig, love the 4ws, love the low CG, love the transmission. Great job on this build bro!
Nice!!! you need to get a another transfer case, it has a little hole in it, almost measure it carefully, (Thor) mod is getting good custom job on it, i'm very impressed! (Grade B+)
Soon we should have more options to run outrunners silently, Furitek is working on a 10th scale ESC. Not sure if that is public but they did tell me in an email and i am no one special. I am just hoping it is 60A and more available than the Holmes Crawlmaster that i see going for 160-200 for the unopened kit now.
If i remember right, THAT transmission (or 1 like it), was offered 5+ years ago as a scx10 (1 & 2) upgrade. Was all super cheaply made, plastic & a few metal gears, by a 'name brand' manufacturer who ended up going bust because their tranny was crap. (At the time, a friend bought 1. Was almost $200!😳) The dig unit was crap. NICE to see it upgraded by a (Chinese probably) company with cnc machinery make it better! 👍
I'm sure you already know but Holmes Hobbies puller pro V2 2700kv/mambaX Will allow you to crawl nice and slow and give you all the wheel speed you need. You can even run that bad boy on 4S. I have that power system in my spare time hobbies chassis and my g-speed chassis. Love it.
Yeah I’ve already got a castle powered video done and up for the members as well as a Holmes powered with 2500kv revolver. I just don’t want to back to back release them as I have other stuff to get out. But in the end, I’m staying with a Revolver motor.
@@ExocagedRC I love my puller pro v2s but to be honest I'm definitely interested in trying out a revolver. I love having all that wheel speed though so I would get a higher KV revolver.
I have the castle mamba x 2850kv in my brazin atl with trx4 sport trans and its crawls beautiful n the power/wheel speed is insane. The copper head is even better cuz its just as good and quiet.
I'm thinking that the new spectrum 2300 kv integrated motor with esc would be a good choice for this it's like the hobbywing fusion but with a higher kv.
Love this build. Anyone make overdrive/underdrive for ryft? That could help with the front jacking. Stoked on the castle transplant! Keep it up bud. You're content is awesome.
Vanquish also makes an underdrive ring and pinion for Ryft axles. It isn't much, but it is noticeable and does help. They say it only works with the 'stock' axles housings, but the different size inner pinion bearing Vanquish uses still also fits the vitavon housings since the vitavon only up-sizes the outside pinion bearing.
i borrowed your idea n made a couple of my trucks on offroad outlaws 2 if u never played it try it im addicted to it its a game for your phone any way it worked very well
brotha...you should really pair that Mamba X with a 3500kv puller pro,you'd get way more bump and WAAAAY more low end smoothness than the Castle motor!!

The way to get rid of the 'castle whine'... Tekin. I refuse to use Castle ESC's until they update their firmware (and maybe hardware) to use a higher frequency control loop. Granted - everyone has a different degree of annoyance with the noise they make. For me - it simply drives me crazy. I can't do it.
u have gt5 and u should put ur rear servo on channel 6 to have complete control of it. not just crab steer or 4 steer complete supérate movement of the rear wheels

I bought my capra used so go easy on me. But are the transmission I'm the capra 1 gear I notice the slow crawl is terrible even with the crawl master and hobbywing 1080 in it. And another question does it change gears on its own according to how fast you are driving or do you do it with your controller?

I like Large scale crawlers . I want to see more . MY axial rift I HAVE NOW IS GOING TO BECOME MY LARGE SCALE CRAWLER and the default motor in it cogs yeah a little , but it still craws good . but i will be getting a better system for it later for now it good tho after shimming the diff better so it don't die like factory when i ran it for the first time on 3 s lipo.
Is this with the 48p stock gear it came with? If so, what pinion gear are you using on the motor. I just put this same transmission in my capra. I have a 16 tooth on the motor and kinda think I need to go bigger. Im Using the stock 35t motor

Man ppl don't like that capra transmission but I really like it. Good to know that Amazon 3 gear works well too.
I do like it and run it in several comp trucks like Optimus 3 and Myolnir as well as the Creep 6 but I really wanted to try this and so far I like it.

Vitavon OD portal gears soon. That would help you’re right. Vanquish has underdrive ring and pinion available.

I’d need a way to power those extra axles. There are no through pinion options that I know of.

I’ve had those before and they are a very good tire. I liked them but I sold them with my 1/6 Ford truck I had them on

The new 3 gear trans did that change up the gear ratio much? Did you cover the clearance hole you created in the trans case?
Clearance hole? I didn’t modify the case at all that I remember and yeah it’s geared lower than the Capra trans is.
