- Paramedics are on the scene of a major car crash. The driver managed to escape but two passengers remain trapped. Paramedics worry the driver may have suffered a spinal injury. Elsewhere, paramedics rush a young woman with a high temperature to hospital after concerns she may have sepsis.
For the very first time, an ambulance has been rigged with cameras that provide a unique perspective on what it's like to respond to emergency calls. 'Inside The Ambulance' follows paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service in England as they take us right into the heart of the action. We see heroism at work in the actions of these first responders. We also enter the lives of people in crisis and learn their unique stories.

These first responders were all so kind, caring and empathetic. They are great!
I just love all these nicknames that they use. I wish someone would call me “My Pettle”. Love this channel.
I am from America. I love how their ambulances are manual transmissions! 🤗
Most of us in Europe hav manual transmission. It's another kind of driving ;0)
Glad someone else from the states noticed that too. And I love how they have a ramp so there is no need for lifting or any mechanics the way US ambulances still do. Not sure if the US based versions are doing this or if they can still configure with the larger, wider box in the back. Looks like the new vans, and not just the Fiats but also Fords etc are unibody and must remain at a standard size.
@@BLAB-it5un in my city, we got a couple new ambulances. Unfortunately I had to ride in one code to hospital. But they're big. And the mechanics automatically lift yiu up and slide you in. Personally I prefer that over the ramps. But yeah, American ambulances are quite different than European ones. 🚑
@@spencerhonda7445 It is the manual lifting that is the issue. In most US cities it seems as though mechanical gurneys are now standard. But I question situations in which the US version of the Fiat are not fitted with a ramp since clearly this can be done. I'm sure there's a reason the US doesn't appear to be adopting this style. Either way, the main goal is to avoid the need for the paramedic/EMT to actually do the lifting. Just curious as to why the ramp style does not appear to be catching on in the US.
@@spencerhonda7445not in a good way either !

Very English of that taxi driver to apologise for something that isn't his fault
I know! But nobody’s sitting in the back of the taxi in some countries like Australia and Scotland.
Thank you for posting!
I'm From New Zealand I like this too it shows what the poms do differently to what the New Zealanders do
The countryside is beautiful
All the people are so kind and cute!! Love that🥺🫶🏼
NHS is very reliable rescuers i gave top one in the world
These paramedics, nurses and everyone I have seen on the internet in the UK ,Canada, New Zealand, and a few others in the medical field are just lovely, amazing people, who genuinely care. Here is th U.S. you call 911 for help, most of them don't treat you very good. They are not that nice. I am in the state of Ohio.
NC here is the same ! No care just what’s wrong and truly not care . Bless you
Amazing Content

My mum is British and she still calls them woolly hats.🤪
Oh I could listen to her story for hours ❤️🙏🏻
Thank you kindly for posting these interesting and informative videos of real-life medical crises! I would like to request that "Real Responders" improve the picture quality. These more recent programs are sometimes quite poor visually. Only sometimes I succeed in improving the quality via my settings options. 😕
Man, these drivers need to be careful while driving the cars and trucks and vans and buses!! They need to obey the rules!!
I am your big fan 😂😂
I never knew sepsis was a problem there! Can someone explain why??
Sepsis isn't a transmissible disease. Its when the infected bacteria gets into the bloodstream, and can happen to anyone. It's more similar to allergies.
@@DeadmanPoet thank you!!!! I further read on the internet more info about it I appreciate your response and also that it was all kind and not mean!!
Bacteria
My mum is 95 and she looks like Diane Keaton, not at all like an oldie😀
I get that you guys want the ad revenue, but having an ad every *5 minutes* is really excessive and annoying. I ended up skipping to the recap portion so I could see the outcomes and be done with it.
I use a different browser which removes any and all ads including from UA-cam.
@@Nikki_Holland what browser is that?

I'm surprised they wear those bulky cameras over their shoulders, and not the little body-worn cameras that American police wear in the center of their chest. They are much less obtrusive.
Ali needs a neck collar.
Stop shouting at old people! Some may have hearing problems but by no means all. ASK FIRST. It's so insulting to assme they're deaf.
Excuse Mee but when it is a doktor that has been called before the ambulance...wath is the meening with all the "exersices" before put her in the ambulance direktly! It is rectiolus....if the doktor is the in ringer.
Pom💔
I pray, that Miss Beatrice I think was her name is going to be OK

There are some interesting types of people in the world…. 😂
The taxi driver is only interested in who is to blame. What about his passengers?! Not once did he ask how his passengers were doing! What selfish behavior. Climb out of the taxi and leave the passengers to fend for themselves. Ali, you are my "hero". ☹
When repeated how he was hit he was answering their questions. He was also in shock. You don't know how you would react.
He was in shock. People do not always react how they would normally. But you carry on, I am sure you will behave perfectly when your time comes.
He may not own the taxi and might be worried about the company’s reaction if he doesn’t get all of the information.
Were you there??
