This video was sponsored by Skillshare - 3D printing has improved in leaps and bounds over the past 5 years! Getting detail this intricate was something only big companies could afford but now the average modeler like you and me also have the ability to make flawless models with ease.
So far the modeling I’ve been doing on the Anet N4 is sized to be HO scale however if you’re modeling in N scale a printer like this is a must. Regular FDM printers just don’t cut the mustard when trying to get the fine details we want for our scale models.
The only limitation I see at the moment with these printers is print volume, the printable area is quite small so for example the house I built in this video needed to be separated into sections small enough to fit in the printable area and then once all the components are printed they are assembled. So if you want to model in the larger scales you may run into problems.
For more information about 3D printing and to read the review about the Anet N4 be sure to visit www.bouldercreekrailroad.com

@@BoulderCreekRailroad Some of the less cheap calculators come with little power management circuits that charge the onboard battery when the calculator isn't in use. If you can get your hands on one of those, you could drop that on the roof and replace the 'calculator' part with the light.

Thanks mate, I was a little hesitant doing a sponsored segment as I hadn't done one before. I tried to make it as painless as possible while still keeping it relevant to what I'm doing, plus I think the timer at the bottom of the screen during the sponsored segment helps 😃

I can't believe you designed that in tinkercad. Hell I have problems making simple designs in there like making a wedge with weird angles. This is incredible! The only thing I noticed that was weird was the lines on the tree but I didn't notice it till I knew it was the model I was looking at.

Fantastic video, loved the attention to detail and how simple you made it seem. I have recently purchased the Creality Ender 5, but have been only printing downloaded files as I do not know much about them yet. I subscribed to the Skillshare lessons so this will help me out. Many thanks for the free two months - much appreciated. Very nice Ultrasonic Knife too - very impressive, just a shame on the cost.
