They look gorgeous I wanted to see the full design with cups and ribbons!
Ikr I was rushing and totally forgot to get a pic before they picked them up
Thank you showing how to remove the wax. I actually stopped buying apples for that very reason. Will be using this method 👍🏾
Yess you have to try it I stopped for a while too but stay consistent it gets easier
Do you have a video doing black ones? I have an event coming up and I'd like to try some!
Yes check the playlist called tutorials
Love that royal blue. Are you able to do an apple with 2 colors .
Thank you yes you can new videos dropping soon
Just ran across your channel and love it, new subscriber, l try to make my apples look royal blue and they look more of a greenish blue, when l first putt the coloring in they look blue but after taking them off the stove the candy looks greenish ,what did l so wrong?
Thank you so much for supporting what color brand are you using? Also what does the color say on the tube? If it says anything but royal blue or blue then it will come out looking greenish or teal. Make sure you are using bright white also because some white colors have a yellow tone.
Also if you over cook past 300 degrees it immediately burns and turns green
Do you find a difference in flavor using the dram versus the bigger one? I only use the dram for my apples, but the bigger one I use for my cake flavors
Not at all the only difference is measuring that dram out of the big bottle thats why I purchased droppers to help with controlling the amount I use
That's my fav color blue 🔵 it's too cute!!🥰
Thanks literally it's the most popular color that and purple
How long does it take before there ready to package?
Hi I package them immediately but I don't close the bag until about 30mins later or whenever the cool down to prevent moisture in the bag
Hi😊do fridge or leave out for the 48 hours
Hey so I actually leave them out I try to keep them lined up on a silicone mat the catch the sap from the apples
@@Lifewithtanisha10 appreciate you sharing and replying back 🥰
Usually how many apples can you get from that one batch of candy?
Usually 10-12 if they are average size apples
What’s the cheesecake is for & why white color. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
So the white is the prevent the apple from being see through it make the color more vibrant and the cheesecake is the flavor the candy
How do you keep the sugar from cooling down too much?
Great question. So you would place the pot back on the eye until it returns to its liquid consistency not necessarily back to 300 but enough so that you can dip again, but honestly always place it back every now and then to keep the temp just right
Also you can definitely let it harden and reheat later however I only do it for family functions for customers fresh batches only
Try the swril with colors, hit me up I want to see 😄
Coming soon
Hi, do your apples get sticky ? Your mixture looks like mine and my apples always get sticky 😩😩 I’m trying to figure out why that keep happening.
Hi so the most important thing is room temperature if it is humid or warm inside the room it affects the candy and it will get sticky so always make sure the room is cool/cold and transfer into the bags as soon as you dip without closing the bag so it wont cause any steam and allow them to cool in the fridge once cool tie the bag and the apple will remain smooth if kept in the fridge
@@Lifewithtanisha10 thank you so much for responding. I’ll turn down the a/c and try that, because it does get really humid when I’m preparing them. Thank you.
@@cherrywilliams1967 yes it does also try not to sit them near the pot if you have another space use that area instead
@@Lifewithtanisha10 it’s funny (not funny) that you said that because that’s exactly where I place them 🤦🏾♀️ on the counter right next to the stove. 👍🏾
@@Lifewithtanisha10I usually dip them in a cold water bath 2 to 3 times right after I scrape off the excess candy; I do this with my grapes as well. It hardens instantly and preserves the cleanliness👌🏽 It’s worth you trying it next time 🤷🏽♂️ Great video 💯
Why do they need to sit for 48 hours?
To allow the sap to exit the apple
So they can completely dry so you won't have lumps and bumps on your candy apples
Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to bad I can't have any.
Aww man you are missing out
Yeah why 48 hours
It is a preference of mine to allow the sap time to exit the apples before dipping due to the sap causing the candy to break down
This is the most detailed video I’ve seen 💙🩵💙 Thank you sooo much!!! I just wanted to confirm that it’s okay to use gel food coloring right? It doesn’t have to be oil based… is that correct? Thank you again
Thank you hun I appreciate it and yes only gel based food coloring oil based will brake down the candy
Beautiful work
Thank you 😊
