a tip : watch movies on flixzone. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies these days.
The "extra deck" trick with using the roll effect is so useful! Definitely my favorite of all these.

Having trouble getting the “extra deck” trick to work. When I engage the roll effect on the channel, it applies to the channel but upon switching to AUX channel and lowering the volume fader for the channel, I lose sound. Any idea where I’m going wrong?

Man I never knew you could analyse KEY in rekordbox... This helps a lot
Gr8 quick vid for tricks.
However, for the ones out there struggling with the Roll trick, you should've mentioned that in order for the Roll FX to don't skip on Loading tracks on deck one, AUX switch should be set to 0db or 12db, if set to Off it will cause the roll fx to skip back to the start of the loop.
It took me ages before I could get that working.
I hope this advice can be usefull for the ones out there stuck on this enigma of the roll skip...

The sample via AUX channel is easily the best for me - Adding a 3rd channel, even in this limited manner is a serious trick for the unit!

I use often Roll efekt 4/1 on my DJM 400 to record first or second channel and while music is playing I can restart my computer or program like nothing happend. This is useful thing for playing with only one CDJ.

Es ist nicht nur für Event-Dj´s interessant.
Habe jahrelang mit Vinyl aufgelegt und mit CDJ´s eigentlich nie.
Inzwischen kommt man aber nicht mehr an denen vorbei.
Da der Controller die gleiche Software und ein nahezu identisches Layout benutzt, ist das für mich die perfekte Alternative zu CDJ´s und Mixer, die nur zum daheim auflegen und Sets vorbereiten einfach zu teuer wären.
Daß es ein Standalone-Gerät ist, macht die Sache für mich noch interessanter, weil man so tatsächlich auch mal selber ne mittelgroße Party schmeißen kann, ohne Laptop und die ständige Angst, daß dieser abschmieren könnte^^

Hey guys.. Neat video.. Two questions... Can u please explain more in detail how to properly set and use the Color (knob) function? and also.... In Automix.. There is the crossfade that cuts the playing song out a full 30 secs early. This is not very desirable. Is there a way to alter the length and position of this crossfade in Automix? Thanks a bunch.
How did you make dark background/theme in your RX2? Please help...
I’ve had the unit for a few weeks now and love it. I’m converting over from Serato DVS. There are a couple of things I haven’t figured out…How do you get the illuminating play head on the jog wheels to load at the 12 o’clock position? Also, when scratching the first beat of a song the playhead tends to lag if there isn’t a silent gap before the first beat. Let me know if there is a solution for this. Thanks!

Yes you can do that in Rekordbox. Preferences->Controller->Deck->Touch/Brake-> Vinyl Speed Adjust

Is it possible to record a mix from the XDJ RX2 to a computer software like audacity using the digital usb cable as an output. I have tried and installed all drivers, but audicity does not recognize it as an input. Help please
How would you rig this up to rekordbox DJ using a Windows machine. Also would it require a license or would it be plug n play.

I would like to ask you how do I map the features of Rekordbox DJ, with my XDJ-RX2? Unfortunately I can't figure out how to use the XDJ-RX2 console with Rekordbox DJ, and use the various effects offered by the Rekordbox DJ software, I tried a little, but I see that using XDJ-RX2 with the Laptop and Rekordbox, is a bit difficult and limited !! You don't have full control of the effects of Rekordbox DJ on the XDJ-RX, and then the effects buttons like I have to have them in the RX2 console, without having to physically go to my laptop every time to change effect and use the mouse ?! Do you know how to use RX2 with Rekordbox DJ, without using the mouse and having full control? Thank you very much......
If I've prepared my playlist with all my specific settings in Rekordbox on different equipment and exported my playlist onto a usb, if I then plug that usb into this controller will the controller override any of the settings I created on my exported playlist? Hope that was clear. Love the channel.
thanks for these! I couldn't do the mixing in key, the tracks are all analysed in Rekordbox but don't show any other track thank the one playing when I press browse. do you have a troubleshooting tip please?

Heyy! Can you do a video on midi to the XDJ-RX2? Mine connects at first then say half way through a set will make a loud screeching sound and it disturbs the set I have to turn everything off and back on. Thank you 👍🏽

the pads---> on dj rx2 .I can do it on the pc screen in the rekordbox options but rx2 pads simply don't recordnize any changes
