I don’t like MLS (prefer European football much, much more), but I’m so down for this club and will be following the league now. Finally, I have one I can support and love until the end.
Yawn. Every MLS club is MLS because of the single entity business model. MLS owns all the clubs and non-DP player contracts. There is nothing to look forward to because San Diego FC is just a generic soccer squad dressed up as a club under a league that heavily depends on gimmicks like forced parity to sell an artificial image of itself. If you truly care about watching sports, MLS will not offer you a true competitive experience that make sports entertaining. They will only offer a gimmick version of it.
Good luck to the fans and players but that logo is absolutely god awful. I hope ownership can give you guys a logo that that represents the city and fans and not just some bad clip art. 🙏
