@@tod1way Id say both yes and no on that one.
It, like the Bible, contains several easily observable scientific facts.
Like the verse some apologists love siting as a proof of divine insight: "Saltwater and freshwater don't mix" which is easily observable by anyone living near a rivers exit to the sea and a bit of curiosity.
(And also incorrect as it just takes time for it to mix)

@@klebbe1 I don't remember that passage at all and I read the Bible twice. Though, it was definitely tedious and most of it I didn't retain afterwards. Just a few bits and pieces stuck in my brain, like the fact that in Jeremiah 10: 2-7 God forbids what sounds like Christmas trees.

As another ex-Muslim, here's the underlying question: If the Quran had all these scientific details, why didn't early Islamic scholars inform the world about them centuries ago? Why wait until *after* scientists make the discoveries, to then claim the Quran said them "all along"? They just re-translate and re-interpret verses to vaguely align with current science and then claim it's a miracle (each Arabic word usually has multiple meanings). Meanwhile, the verses which are explicit errors are just "metaphysical" not to be taken literally.
PS. Even the Hindus claim the big bang and planetary orbits were mentioned in their books. Same wordplay.

Similarly, for the scientific errors, if they do not mean what they mean on the surface, then we should expect classical scholars who spent their lives studying the Quran and who rely on the Quran and not external scientific knowledge to also make similar statements, however, this isn't the case, we instead see classical scholars endorsing those exact same scientific errors that we claim the Quran has and only later muslims, armed with new scientific knowledge, purposely trying to force a scientifically correct interpretation down our throats. Some examples will be the meaning of Nur in S10:5 and "Spread the earth" found in S13:3.

As far as I remember he actually flew to heaven. My favourite part about the story was when Allah told Muhammad that Muslims are supposed to pray 50 times a day. After that Muhammad met Moses again who he already met before in heaven and told him about the prayers. Then Moses told him that the amount of prayers was way too much and after that Muhammad returned to Allah who made 40 prayers out of it.Then he returned to Moses again and he still thought it was too much. So this whole thing went on until he and Allah agreed on 5 prayers and Moses was alright with it. So it was Moses who questioned the all knowing Allah and decided how many prayers Muslims should do every day.

Maybe but so far no one's ever found anything that in anyway suggests that anything at all exists beyond hard physical evidence. I don't mean to assert that philosophical materialism here, we dropped it for methodological materialism for good reason. No what I'm saying is that it is silly to assert some things are beyond hard physical evidence just because said evidence has yet to be found.
For example quantum physical phenomenon in predictive scientific modeling has sometimes only strong mathematical proof for it or indirect evidence but they're still not beyond hard physical evidence even if that evidence currently lies ahead of our scientific scope. Such as the hard evidence that were lacking for decades for Einsteins relativistic theory, such as black holes and such.
A similar example is Dark Matter. It was thought that it would remain without hard physical evidence but since 2018, its existence wasn't just directly confirmed but also directly observed as a genuine photo of a dark matter web between galaxies were taken. And it's as genuine as the black hole photo from the same year. It was taken by a group of scientists in Waterloo.
A unique camera with special equipment was used as Dark matter isn't visible directly to the naked eye. Bit their photo and their scientific readings still count as Hard physical evidence considering what was done and what it is.
I'll provide a link in a separate comment if someone asks for it. YT is iffy about accepting links..
Anyway I think my point here was made clear. Nothing is truly beyond hard evidence if it actually exists and if it is it most likely is something made up, I.e non-existant. Like many old human concepts tend to turn out, like dieties and ghosts. No evidence has turned up over ages and what evidence there ever were, were all explained away by science as time went on.
To make this post as complete as possible I'll also add this about evidence.
Per the traditional aphorism, "absence of evidence is not evidence of absence", positive evidence of this kind is distinct from a lack of evidence or ignorance of that which should have been found already, had it existed, in this regard Irving Copi writes:
" _In some circumstances it can be safely assumed that if a certain event had occurred, evidence of it could be discovered by qualified investigators. In such circumstances it is perfectly reasonable to take the absence of proof of its occurrence as positive proof of its non-occurrence_ ."
      - Copi, Introduction to Logic(1953), p. 95
Meaning that in cases of no evidence where thorough search and research have gone along time, the lack of evidence thus can be accepted as positive evidence of its lack of existence.
      ...

For example, the trolley problem. You most likely know it, and if not, the Wikipedia has it covered pretty well.
      You can basically take two approaches in that case;
      -Absolutist (deontological)
      -Utilitarian (consequentialist)
We don't really have any objective, scientific way to prove any of these 2 superior, unless we come with a presupposition ("murder is always bad" or "reducing the overall deathcount is the highest goal"), which is non-scientific by definition.

Thanks but your objection is null and void as abstract objects doesn't change anything I said nor in anyway strengthen your point. And the point of the argument were "hard physical evidence" and unless you take a hard disengenious approach to semantics, then you'll agree that they're also not beyond hard physical evidence as any documentary and dictionary entry about them thus counts as hard physical evidence, such as the photo of the black hole and the photo of the literal Dark matter web. While we don't have hard physical examples of the subject matter directly as I'd love to see some choice someones attempt to hold a black hole, we still have hard physical evidence of it. Same with the abstract. A requirement of being available to hold is not a neccesary for having hard physical evidence of something.
Also I know what the trolly problem is and it's a fallacious mess but that's a can of worms for another day.

The Book of Kevin tells us that the Cosmic Creator Cat is the One and Only True Creator. It's true because the Book is true. Other proofs are the amazing miracles done by the Cosmic Creator Cat attested to in the Book. As the One, True Prophet of the Cosmic Creator Cat, I also have proofs of amazing and completely fulfilled prophecies. The Book contains the prophecies, then shows their fulfillment. Exactly as spoken. Nothing about the Book contradicts anything in current science. In fact, it makes amazing references to things like the lunar landings and the Higgs boson. Impressive, huh? None of the other supposedly holy books can say that. Anyone who wants to waste a buttload of time memorizing the Book can do so. It has no contradictions. Any historical events mentioned are from reputable, historical sources so are as true as can be determined.
Thus proving the existence of the Cosmic Creator Cat.

I didn't want to dig too deep in but googled "what percentage of Australians are christians" and "what percentage of Australians believe in god" and got this for the former " the proportion of Australians who describe themselves as having no religion has risen from 26.0% in 2003 to 45.5% in 2020" and this for the latter " Not only does most of Australia identify with Christianity, but more than half (55%) of the population believes in God, as defined as the Creator of the universe, the Supreme Being." Which is a tad confusing when it starts with "most Australians identify with christianity" THEN "(55%) of the population believes in God" which sounds odd since I would think a lot more believe in god than would consider themselves as christians but, statistics, they often give strange results.
I think I need to move to England 🤦🏻‍♀️! I'm glad to see the percentage has dropped drastically from 26% not believing in god in 2003 to 45.5% in 2020 but 55% still believing in fairy tales is rather depressing to me, I thought we had more sense than that 😒.

It took me a while to figure out the interaction but here's what's happening: The preacher is talking like a telemarketer, but he's failing at it, because his mark is listening to him like a patient and kind (but streetwise) man listens to the tragic tale of a beggar.

My parents, both Anglican, did not have me baptised because they wanted me to make my own decision. By the time II was old enough to make those kinds of decision, I no longer believed. So, although I did attend the church for many years, I never took communion.

Many years ago I had a salesman try to sell me a Kirby vacuum cleaner. He was exactly as fast and eager as this guy. His hard sell failed, however, because he became so annoying and frustrating to deal with. He told me that one clean with his vacuum cleaner was the same as using a regular one for six months solid. So, I told him to contact me in half a year. This guy is cut from the same cloth.

awkwardly the book was changed roughly 2 weeks after as it was pretty much fully destroyed and rewritten by others who wher not muhammad.
so it's a straight up lie to say it's unchanged. besides all the times it has been changed.

Muslim apologists keep forgetting that the quran is the claim and not the evidence. Saying “X couldn’t have possibly known this, therefore god!” Is not an answer nor an explanation.
It just shows some people want to keep believing their fairytale and not put in the work for actual answers.

So... Does someone want to tell the nameless street preacher that he debunked one is his own points?
    4) (11:30) The Qur'an is "Easy to Memorise - Millions of Muslims have Memorised It (I'm assuming he includes himself considering it would seem kind of silly or wrong if he didn't have it memorized himself)
At the 15:02 mark of the video he fumbles, misses words and the like. Now, maybe I'm being overly critical. English doesn't appear to be his first language, which is completely fair, and maybe he's only really used to quoting from memory in Arabic but I feel like if you're making a point about how it's so easy to learn and you plan to go try and convert people in a country that doesn't speak Arabic that it kind of ruins your point if it is only easy to memorize in Arabic when it's a text that has gone all around the world in however many different languages.

Even funnier...one of the verses in that book is used to determine if someone is drunk...because it is so complicated to memorize. 🤪
If you suspect someone of being drunk, that is forbidden according to the qu'ran, you ask him to recite that verse. If he gets it out flawless he is deemed sober, as it is deemed impossible to recite it correctly if drunk.
Another fun fact...most non arabic speaking muslims and a big chunk of arabic speaking muslims can't recite it correctly even if sober...because it is incredible difficult to memorize.🤷‍♂️😏

@11:32 "Millions of people have memorized it by heart and they can't speak Arabic!"
So what you're admitting there is millions of people can't honestly say they understand a word it says? They've just memorized the noises and chanting but they don't understand it?

"Street Preacher Proves God And Converts Atheist?"
No, you see, what happened there is that he made a complete idiot of himself, like they all do.
Every time the guy says "that's incredible" he actually means incredible. As in "I don't believe that for a second". It's so funny how these apologists put these videos up being all proud they converted someone, while it's blatantly obvious their victim is just humoring the looney.
