40:40 Except for the fact that you can add retribution aura damage and blessing damage to the raid...that is the ret paladin's damage even though it goes on other toons' parses. Dont forget!
I'm gonna main a druid in fresh looking forward to be a bear tank in TBC. In classic, I'm gonna switch between bear/boomie. If I find a guild to take me both as OT and/or balance, cool, but PVE is not gonna be my focus in the 1st year. PVP as balance/resto is just too good to pass, you can 3v1 if you know what you're doing. I freaking love wPVP as balance. Already looking ahead to encounter the horde gankers in Duskwood hehe.
The only problem I want to point out about this video is, while you are spot on about the classes for Vanilla WoW, we know that this is a fresh Classic. It will progress to TBC and Wrath. I think you are doing your viewers a disservices by not pointing out that WHEN it goes to TBC and Wrath, many of the classes change significantly. You mention at the end of the video, that Paladin is a regrettable class, yet when TBC comes, it might be the best class in the game. Conversely, Warrior will take a seat at the back of the bus by the time Wrath drops. My recommendation to your viewers is pick a main that you can be happy with for the roughly year that the Vanilla phase is out, but consider when choosing your alts, what they become moving forward. For me, I will main a priest because I know I will have functionality all through out Vanilla. I will alt a Paladin and a Druid because I know they become, and I don't want to have to level and gear grind while TBC is live.
Yeah I mean, that was kinda a video idea of mine to make a pick a class with TBC in mind. But wanted to adress the people that want to choose for the Fresh classic experience without thinking about TBC. But for sure, that's also important to take into account what to play for when TBC will come. ( Although , we have a full year of time that you can level an alt that is meant for TBC for example ^^ )
I'm torn honestly. I rolled a Druid back in 2004 but Vanilla is a pain as a Druid, but in TBC it gets way better. Been thinking about Shaman or Hunter as well, but I'm leaning away from Hunter because I like for my class to have the ability to heal others. I also considered Horde this time, but Alliance has always been my faction, so I don't know.
Restokin is actually great in open world, has good damage, sustain healing, survives alot of damage tbh but what you lack is mana and id say having no dispel! I m bias tho, I really love druid in vanilla lol
@ThoGreyClassic it would be so fun to restokin with a rogue buddy. But the lack of a magic dispel is so sketchy. But you can disengage anytime you want. Where as priest had better heals and defensive and offensive dispel but you ain't getting away from anything haha
@@thelastshallbefirst3653 Double stealth is awesome, there is also a build for Druids where you can have great healing and still have all the stealth talents. So you could easily pounce on someone with your rogue friend. Both are great tho, If you find the time to play 2 characters, I think that might be the play ( Rogue / Druid and maybe you mate goes Warrior or something else with a priest )
Boomkin was terrible in Vanilla unless you have that trinket from ZG that gives you a bonus to spell damage temporarily, plus other pieces of gear that boost spell damage from Raids. It'd be hard to find a guild willing to let you roll again Locks and Mages though. Plus you can't heal in Moonkin form and have to become vulnerable to do it by shifting out. Mana is also an issue unless you have Innervate, but you can't have Innervate and Moonkin at the same time. Honestly I'd recommend 31 Resto and the rest in Feral. You can pop in, Faerie Fire, Moonfire, rejuv/regrowth then go into Bear where you have a stun and another heal for yourself.
Hey, I plan to play the hardcore version of this fresh wipe, who will obviously be doing the essential levelling, but I will also be actively looking to mak'gora. Is rogue a good spec for this
yeah, Although Makgora, I don't remember people accepting to mak gora me, They usually accept vs known streamers because they want to either make content or become the content..
Didn't know you played classic. Why didnt you just post this on your main channel?? Im excited for the classic relaunch and all the content, got to play the 2019 release for about a month before work got crazy and had to stop playing.
Main channel is about retail and I do'nt want to mess up the algorythm. Truth is, alot of retail players don't like classic. Since I have a second channel, I think it's wiser to seperate the algorythm ! I'm happy to hear that you'll join us for next fresh :)
I'll probably play a dwarf retribution paladin. I usually play mage but don't really want to do that again. I like paladins even if they're kind of boring. Nearly free mount at level 40 along with being the best Alliance race (flavor-wise) is a good combination. I don't mind healing in dungeons and raids.
If you want to PvP, go horde. More warlocks and shadow priests being played which are top tier pvp classes, better racials for pvp and quite often more PvP minded players.
Yeah but I can't be motivated for horde side. I Don't like the capitals, I don't like the leveling ( for some reason, some people prefer horde over alliance, so I guess it's a me problem lol ) and in general, I always feel comfy at doing Alliance. Even in PVP I think it will be 50/50 since there is only 1 server for pvp
@@ThoGreyClassic alliance is comfy I agree, I've mained Dwarf, warrior, priest, rogue and hunter far more than anything that horde have to offer. But at a certain point, horde start to dominate, open world, bgs, and then av. At least this is my experience. Obviously alliance are more than capable of winning, but just from experience horde more often than not attract a player base of people that value PvP more and the classes they choose are A tier PvP, as they tie in with class fantasy, Undead priest, warlock, mage.
there is only one version in wow that matters classic! everything else is a raid log...tbc kills the old world and with it the spirit of the game.. have fun with your retail experience part time job
It is only a raid log if you make it so. I found a lot of fun last time with going for 100% completion. Have fun with classic for a year in your way :D
Would be cool if they buffed other classes to make em viable. This way we gonna see again the same raid comps. Give hunter pets scalling and steady shot, give ele shammy mp5 and totem of wrath, give boomies mp5 and so on. Classic was fun and all, but doing the same shit all over again kinda lost its charm
Hunter pets having scaling would be great! I still think Classic is one of the best versions the game can offer, and it will be fun to redo everything with everyone!
@@floreaciprian9742 they sorta went off the rails when they tried SoD... so I don't really trust them. But if they could actually implement minimal changes to balance classes or add classic style content then that would be awesome. They really need to swallow their pride and hire the folks at turtlewow. Or just copy them.
@mufasafalldown8401 sod was too much. Im talking about minimal stuff to narrow the gape between classes and make more specs viable, like better scaling, more regen. Stuff like this
Cold take here, but... All classes (and probably all specs) were already viable. The performance gap is just so large between some of them that people began to think that playing a certain class or a certain way isn't "viable". The issue here is they're confusing viable and optimal. Viable means doable. You can make it work. Optimal means the literal best for the situation. Think BiS gear or fury warriors. That's optimal. As it stands, literally everything you can play should be viable from MC to Naxx, though some specs do suffer from issues like spell resistances, which is why a spec like fire mage or fire lock is practically unplayable in the early to mid tiers of raiding, because MC and BWL have TONS of fire resistant mobs. Other than that though? The only limit to what you can play is whether or not the people you're playing is someone whose only source of joy in life is their pink parses and spot on the DPS meter.
My last played classes in Classic are Warrior and Warlock and I am torn between those two. I prefer melee, but warriors are so popular and loot competition is so high… 😬
Dude if you're aiming for tbc...warlock is kimg on dmg next to hunter ..rogue sux until they get glaives or wrath...paladin is great dungeon aoe tank...and even better in wrath... Mage frost is good in all but not top... Warrior sux period...only is good tanking...or pvp when fully geared and pocket heals. Druid is king of survival in bgs... pain to play though...shaman is grear around lvl 38 ish+ deletes people in pvp...but drops off at higher lvls... Priest is strong with wands to lvl... shadow is good in pvp... situational... Hunter will have trouble against a good prot pally in tbc...my pick for best all round class through vanilla-tbc-wrath is Hunter-Warlock-Pally. Pally can literally farm dungeons solo
Trolls are actually the bis race for tanking on the horde side due to the racial that allows them to gain threat way faster because that is the main issue in vanilla pve. As for pvp, taurens are below orcs and above trolls due to the extra stun, which can save you lots of times. Good luck and see you in the game!
Thank you for the precision! You are defo right that it will help with threat especially since horde you side you don't have Salv for the tougher bosses. See you in game mate, what class are you going to play?
trying to decide about mage vs shadow priest, mostly pvp focus into tbc as well. worried about gearing up being a pain though, do you know if these specs require a lot of gear/raids to do ok?
I'd say SP is the toughest to gear up.. since you'll fight warlocks in gearing and if you raid as a guild, you'll have to convince them to give you some gear. IF you are like me, you prefer to play in SR raids, that is possible to get gear, IF you get invited in those raids. Truth is, Mage will be ''easier'' to gear up, but you could also gear up through ranking up ( which became easier, and less hardcore) as an SP and Pvp gear isn't ''bad''. That would be a good start imo.
You could also just heal for a while until you get some decent gear and then switch to shadow for PvP if you'd like, I also am making a priest but gonna go Holy
So they are adding DUEL SPEC HUGE HUGE WIN! They didnt say when but they said instant mail to your own toons along they said the mail thing will be at launch and duel spec will be added so thats amazing especially going into tbc like the fact that it was SO PUNISHING to swap specs in vanilla/tbc really sucked like ive always played Feral/Prot Warrior and my guild and I are going on the pvp server and Ive got such a love for open world pvp and it was really pushing me away from warrior because I plan to game with the guildies and level but like running around open world as prot warrior (well mainly id level arms and 2hand tank) but still trying to pvp as warrior esp low levels sucks with no toolkit no kick till like 36 even but I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED Feral my fav to level and do open world pvp with so im just gunna go Druid 1st ill still be able to MT as bear reliably and also have a full pvp spec and if they didnt add duel spec witch we just found out about I could atleast open world pvp and tank as pve with similar spec!
Hmmm its not only about burst id say. You can do damage at all times. It doenst have shadowdance so it will depend if you like it that way or not. But rogue feels very great to play in classic. Its for sure different!
Sub is good for pvp in classic, but is among ( if not ) the worst class to pve as. I would advise going dwarf for alliance (stoneform OP, you can't lose against another horde rogue). Gnome is okay-ish but you try to avoid the slow/root situation as rogue in the first place. Undead for horde for fear removal. ( Yes racepicking is very important as rogue for pvp )
@@Jesus-jb6ho you are both right! I d say orc for horde and dwarf for alliance. I have a soft spot for human tho, perception in vanilla and tbc, wotlk is also bis. Sword spec for pve aswell. But if you care only about pve. DWARF ROGUE OR ORC ROGUE ( undead close second depending if you have difficulties fighting warlocks/priests).
Does anyone know if alliance will have their own Rend buff ("Might of Stormwind" that was patched out from Era servers after it got implemented) or will alliance raiders still need to have a pet priest for MC near Xroads.
No might of stormwind, but I feel like Rend buff is really minmaxing for Alliance and I actually never went for that. ( Because can't be bothered lol )
No, next week fresh begins with a fresh pair of servers that goes through the original phases of 2019 classic. And it will progress to TBC. So once the phases are done, you'll have TBC garanteed ( from what they have told ).
As mage I would say Alliance is indeed Gnome. BUT, It's not as 'mandatory' imo. So you could go Human. Horde, indeed PVE Troll and Undead PVP. I think it's fair. :D
for pve, human - you get swords and maces skill, extra hit chance, nuff said for pvp, there is a bit more choice - you can go dwarf for removing poison/blinds, undead for removing fear/charm/mc, orc for the stun resist, gnome for the snare cleanse, but overall undead/orc would be most versatile
I really like Dwarf Rogue for PVP, but Human Rogue is really BiS in TBC so depends if you do look forward to tbc aswell. PVE, Human all the way. Horde: Orc is the safest bet in all regards. BUT there is a real argument for Undead rogue because of Warlocks and Priests.
(Alliance Only) all this information is great, but can someone just tell me what's going to be the most in demand class for raiding? meaning maybe a class that nobody plays or a class that is always wanted because it's hard to find sometimes.
In general even popular classes are in demand due to them being super good. Warrior, priest, paladin, and i d say mage. But, you ll find a spot as any class bro
Is this purely because of soulstones you think? I’m really interested in playing a lock but the idea of always needing soulstones just seems like an absolute mission
@@ajh9645 You probably mean soul shards, good question I don't think it's only because of that. It is an historically low pop class even back in the day when nobody know about soulshards and all
If you’re thinking about tbc warlock is an awful choice! It’s just press 1 button over and over again, there is more class that sucks more to play in the game and raids you play in will do all to stop you reroll because they need curses. If you want to have fun in tbc don’t even touch warlock.
Erm warlock is literally the top tier DPS in tbc right next to hunter... slightly above hunter...that's not fun? And in bgs you literally delete multiple people lol
@ no that is 0 fun. I played a warlock and never in the history of wow since I played had less fun. It absolutely sucks because it’s so boring, doesn’t matter how much damage when you almost fall asleep in the raid.
Hunter is my favorite but the class doesn’t scale whatsoever which is sad. In TBC they are also stuck using the blue dungeon set for the entire xpac which is lame.
I'm not 100% agreeing with you on that! Hunter does scale, but just doens't as well as other dpsrs. But a hunter that manages to perfect melee weaving is really top tier in dps wise, and needs alot less gear to be actually good than a Warrior for example !
Good question... i ll go with my all time mains which were hunter and druid. But I wonder if I d go for something "Fresh" for this fresh.. Look you get a golden occasion, convince me about a class and why! :)
I can’t decide between Druid and lock. I want to play Druid more but I know ppl create their raids and groups based off what content creators say. And Druid isn’t top tier
Its top tier on my pve list ❤️ but mate dont worry you can find a spot in raids for sure. Druid is the least played spec. People fight to get a druid in their guild lol. You can even find a spot as an offtank or as a kitie and boomie is a bit harder and needs more goodwill
Bear is the best OT in the game. It IS a pretty good tank throughout vanilla... it's just not meta. And it is a badass PVP class, might be the best one if you know how to play it. Go druid!
Thank you mate! Well GDKP has become ''illegal'', so you are subject to get banned for it. I guess you could maybe do some ''friendly'' GDKP's but for it to be fruitful, you kinda need to advertise it. PERSONALLY, I prefer no GDKP's because it does make you have to be in a guild or atleast you have the usual SR runs which I always liked on my alts. I might organize some raids tho, I don't know if I really want to delve into making a guild tho lol
@@ThoGreyClassic this is good new's, personaly i hated GDKP's and it ruined much of the economy on my server because it made people buy gold, and there of funding more and more bot's
You wrong, u don't need whirlwind axe at 30, that's overkill, Corpsemaker is strong enough to carry u from 29 to 40 where u can replace it with WW axe, then you get new weap from Uldaman's last boss, then Maraudon closer to lvl 50
I mean, I said you would want maybe the whirlwind axe :p I didn't say you need it. But yeah you are right, other weapons can suffise and do enough until you can replace it with WW Axe or anything else.
Both is probably the best option, so you can level maybe both at the same time. Rogue in classic expansions ( or classic itself) really feels like you are playing a rogue. Even when you are a combat rogue. Druid is just chef's kiss in actual utility. Do you PVP aswell?
I would love to be a warrior tank but every guild leader is usually the main tank and I am not knowledgeable about the raids, and I definetly won't be a guild leader lol I would love to use a 2hander instead of dual wielding on a warrior, but because of debuff limit I won't be able to use mortal strike on mobs so that's also another option gone Also there is the respec costs, I can't imagine swapping between protection and arms for whenever I want to pvp or raid and pay 50g each time, wish they gave us double specs and remove the debuff limit but NO CHANGESSSSS
I wish also debuff limit to be gone AND double specs, it wouldn't kill what we have tbh. But I guess that's a bit too ''wotlk''. didn't they add it faster in TBC Classic instead? If you are horde, you could Fury War 2H with Bloodthirst, it's not optimal for pvp but it's there I guess. And you ''could'' learn War tank as an offtank in a guild and maybe work your way up for that. It's always tough tho, I'm myself probably looking for a guild that is clearing content BUT chill in actual raid comps !

what are you talking about? Warriors were just as OP in TBC if not more OP than vanilla as DPS. The only difference is that other classes were no longer useless and were also competitive so people got a chance to play other classes and switch it up. The top 3 DPS classes are 2 warlock specs and Fury warrior. But if the Fury warrior has Glaives, then they are top dps in TBC.
Warrior for melee, Mage / Warlock 50/50 depending on gear if i'm not mistaken, sometimes Hunter depending on bosses. TBF, don't take the best dps mate, it doesn't matter tooooooo much. Except if you play ret lol..

No, not the same attack speed but the damage would be the same minus the usual buff and debuffs from petfamilies. I could make a little guide about it tbh but to give an example. Wolf family has for example +10% more damage but has 2s swingtimer, While Cat fam has +10% more damage but has 1s swingtimer. You d think cat would have more damage but its not right. Overal dps would be the same since cat would swing faster but with lower hits, while wolves would be slower but with a bigger hit. 1 + 1 = 2 kind of deal. Armor health swingtimers and even damage % is different pet family to pet family. Hopefully i m clear
@@keelhld94 Oh yeah, although I didn't play BM specs in raids. It was always something like 00/31/20 or 5/31/15 or even 00/21/30 spec for hunter. But you are right about BM !

Ouf I understand the feel. TBH, I played horde ONE TIME in SoD, and that kinda killed my hype and regretted not going alliance. BUT i'm also an alliance andy so...
So play horde and have fun killing friends in bgs and world PVP...cmon...you don't have to always be holding hands with friends... Seriously when friends play games most are against each other...
I've seen the extra-mile kitties just smoke the DPS meters on regular guilds. That'll not happen in a meta guild tho. If you're not interest in sweaty groups, druids do pretty good in everything. Well, aside boomies. I love balance, but they're only good in PVP.
I mean, you defo have spots for hunters, druids, rogues, warlocks and especially alliance Paladins. Mages are always stacked aswell. I feel we overexagerate the 20war dps raids. That's really for min-maxing which lets be fair, Is the most horrendous way to gear up in a raid.
warriors bring nothing to the raid except damage. there are much more valuable classes that also provide damage, in slightly smaller amounts. warrior is also super gear dependent; enjoy your guild warriors disappearing for 2 months to farm edgies or pvp rank...honestly kind of overrated because of high dmg and Asmongold...
Battle shout, sunder armor, pummel interrupt, uh... Some other stuff too, probably. I guess the whole being the literal best DPS bit's already been mentioned but that does count for something.
I think I misphrased it pretty badly. What I meant was that the 'total' damage of a pet isn't going to be more because it hits faster. Broken Tooth is for example the only ''rare'' pet that people want in classic. It's for the attack speed, but the damage kinda remains the same compared to a wolf with 2s attack speed. Broken tooth will not out of a sudden do more damage than a wolf. But, you are right, I misspoke about it and can be confusing, thank you for pointing out.
@@ThoGreyClassic Cats DO do more dmg than wolves. They have 1.1 dmg modifier, wolves are at 1.0, and they have better focus dump in Claw. Broken tooth will however not do more dmg than another Cat with slower attack speed. The speed only matters for spell pushback in pvp.
@@Randomnamegoeshere Ouf yeah they are at 1.0 modifier, but my example is correct if we talk about raptor which has 1.1 ( I really thought Wolf had 1.1 but i'm mistaken, probably because I never really play wolf except for just the buff lol). and you are right about the focus dump. We could even talk about Frenzy if you would play BM ( which I would not do in Raids)
I mean.. that wouldn't be real prog Classic mate.. I understand in SoD or SoM because it doesn't progress to a certain point, but Classic is about the journey, not the end destination.
@@ThoGreyClassic It was. It really was. I always thought it was weird that humans weren't included originally with hunters. But i guess (i heard somewhere in a video) that blizzard wanted to ensure more race diversity within the alliance side, which is why they didn't do it. I guess they thought too many people would ONLY play human.
I do think debuff cap might be removed, isnt it removed in classic era? I m actually not sure anymore.. But give it a shot mate, you ll see the first week if it ll be something for you or not

Where does it say it’s going to wrath?
Yeah I mean, that was kinda a video idea of mine to make a pick a class with TBC in mind. But wanted to adress the people that want to choose for the Fresh classic experience without thinking about TBC.
But for sure, that's also important to take into account what to play for when TBC will come. ( Although , we have a full year of time that you can level an alt that is meant for TBC for example ^^ )
I mean from an arena perspective you really are only going to play warrior, rogue, lock, and mages for dps. Priest Druid for heals.
@@ThoGreyClassicI would like to see a video covering the classes going into tbc and possibly wrath. I have 3 days left and I literally can’t choose.
I'm still undecided on class ,every hour I change classes LOL
So I'm going with a dwarf disc/holy priest.
But what do you think about a resto/boomkin druid for open world healing with a friend in pvp?

I mean, you are kinda right. Retribution Paladin has it's flavour and MAYBE i'm quite harsh about it.
But vanilla doesn't have pvp, it's mainly griefing and sh1t
Idgaf about the classic content. Ill be spending this whole year literally farming and stockpiling gold for TBC. November 2025, i WILL be PREPARED.
YOU ARE NOT PREPARED. But that's also a way to play fresh :)
there is only one version in wow that matters classic! everything else is a raid log...tbc kills the old world and with it the spirit of the game.. have fun with your retail experience part time job

@@suprementmgr3586I just play it for pvp. I’m a pvp guy.
It is only a raid log if you make it so. I found a lot of fun last time with going for 100% completion. Have fun with classic for a year in your way :D
warrior if want do dmg or tank, and mage to dmg, priesto heals.
@ThoGreyClassic classic is for sure my favourite expansion, id just wish for more class balance to avoid seeing warrior stacks again
I'm in the same boat you are with Hunter but instead Paladin for me. I'll probably roll a Horde Hunter this time around but not 100% sure
Hunter is soo fun man, Hard to be wrong by taking it !
My last played classes in Classic are Warrior and Warlock and I am torn between those two. I prefer melee, but warriors are so popular and loot competition is so high… 😬
Tough, maybe the dual spec changes your mind?
Warriors only tauren bcs serwer moving to tbc so you sometimes can alot easier catch up meat running into pillars xD
trying to decide about mage vs shadow priest, mostly pvp focus into tbc as well. worried about gearing up being a pain though, do you know if these specs require a lot of gear/raids to do ok?
MAN, i am struggling with this way more than i should be xD
probably just go warrior again AGAIN and again!
Cant go wrong with the chad spec
Enhance shaman, even if I end up a dedicated totem twisting bot, I don’t mind, just love enhance shammy
Enhance was soo much fun in TBC, minus twisting. but the dmg was real if you could get the gear.

Big overal win!
Is sub rogue any better on there than in retail atm ? (PVP wise)
@@Jesus-jb6ho To be fair, orc stun resist will allow horde rogues to win if it proc's.

They won't have to. One less world buff won't wipe your raid lmao.
Time to use up some of this PTO for release >:)

so i am confused do classic servers now transform to tbc?
No, next week fresh begins with a fresh pair of servers that goes through the original phases of 2019 classic.
And it will progress to TBC. So once the phases are done, you'll have TBC garanteed ( from what they have told ).
Probably returning as a mage! Always fun and love the CC!
It's that or Priest. :) Which race is ideal for mage you think?
Alliance:
- PvE & PvP: Gnome
Horde:
- PvE: Troll
- PvP: Undead
As mage I would say Alliance is indeed Gnome. BUT, It's not as 'mandatory' imo. So you could go Human.
Horde, indeed PVE Troll and Undead PVP. I think it's fair. :D
Nice Vid.
What the best race choice for Rouge in Pve or PVP?
- Horde:
PvE: Orc
PvP: Undead or Orc
- Alliance:
PvE: Human
PvP: Gnome or Dwarf (Gnome is better overall but Dwarf is better against other Rogues)
I would say UD for pvp because of racial for pve troll or human if you go swords
for pve, human - you get swords and maces skill, extra hit chance, nuff said
for pvp, there is a bit more choice - you can go dwarf for removing poison/blinds, undead for removing fear/charm/mc, orc for the stun resist, gnome for the snare cleanse, but overall undead/orc would be most versatile
@@user-darkodbdyou have right but server evolve to tbc, so human winning. Escape artist in tbc is not that good you have shadowstep, cloak of shadows

If you’re thinking about tbc warlock is an awful choice! It’s just press 1 button over and over again, there is more class that sucks more to play in the game and raids you play in will do all to stop you reroll because they need curses. If you want to have fun in tbc don’t even touch warlock.
I mean, i'm more into pvp.. so It's a bit different for me, but I understand what you mean.
Will heal in raids till I get enough Ret gear and then it's reck bomb time. PVP bout to be lit

Tbc … tbc is terrible I don’t even need to elaborate it just doesn’t have the life span
@@somervillettv2272 Tbf, I never really understand why people drop off TBC ( I skipped TBC Classic because of my life being a bit more busier at that point lol )
I will be doing Dwarf Warrior. Played Warrior in TBC and WOTLK but never in Classic since back in the day I played a Paladin.
Great choice!
Best race for mage PvE and PvP? Also what's the bis Mage spec for pve in TBC?
I frankly think the safest is Gnome for Ally and Undead overal for Mage.
But if you want to specialize into pure PVE, Troll > Undead.
Mage spec for pve in TBC, I don't know to be frank. Wasn't it Fire at some point?
Want to play chaman but my Friends want to play alliance 😭
Ouf I understand the feel. TBH, I played horde ONE TIME in SoD, and that kinda killed my hype and regretted not going alliance. BUT i'm also an alliance andy so...
I feel there is no downside for a classic with Draenei and blood elves in Azeroth 0-60. I’d go blood elf paladin for sure!
@@doctorprepper8106 Actually, would be ok indeed!
So play horde and have fun killing friends in bgs and world PVP...cmon...you don't have to always be holding hands with friends... Seriously when friends play games most are against each other...
@@CctvSecurityCamera-w3j I like beating my friends on games ngl
Shaman, Paladin, Druid = put on the blue dress and heal, unfortunately
Not always but most of the time it is.
Committed ferals can really do wonders tho!
I've seen the extra-mile kitties just smoke the DPS meters on regular guilds. That'll not happen in a meta guild tho. If you're not interest in sweaty groups, druids do pretty good in everything. Well, aside boomies. I love balance, but they're only good in PVP.
Easy to pick, wonna raid? warrior dps, warrior tank, priest healer.. thats the classic way YAY
Just play with regular people you can clear anything up to naxx with pretty much any raid comp
Just roll a shaman everyone. Raids will need 1 per group come TBC 😅
Also in Classic mate, you kinda want a shaman per group if i'm not mistaken no?
warriors bring nothing to the raid except damage. there are much more valuable classes that also provide damage, in slightly smaller amounts. warrior is also super gear dependent; enjoy your guild warriors disappearing for 2 months to farm edgies or pvp rank...honestly kind of overrated because of high dmg and Asmongold...
100% agree to that, I personally dont like a big stack of warrior and prefer diversity in a raid :)
Battle shout, sunder armor, pummel interrupt, uh... Some other stuff too, probably. I guess the whole being the literal best DPS bit's already been mentioned but that does count for something.
Demo shout and thunder clap?
why do you say pet attack speed is normalized? its not?
I really wished they released this classic already with wotlk spells and talents.. nvm they wanna force us to auto-attack again for another year
Tough, it's going to be too op for its world don't you think?
@@ThoGreyClassic If you ever leveled 1-60 in wotlk you would see there is a perfect balance between being too boring (vanilla) or too broken (sod)
Would be amazing with 2x exp, no world buffs. But yeah blizz just doesn't care at all.
I mean.. that wouldn't be real prog Classic mate.. I understand in SoD or SoM because it doesn't progress to a certain point, but Classic is about the journey, not the end destination.
@@ThoGreyClassic It was. It really was. Unfortunately it seems most folks decided to minmax the shit out of the game and tell you it's "required" for you to farm world buffs, every consume, BiS gear and more before a raid to be viable. Here's to hoping I can find me a half decent guild that'll actually do content without forcing that stuff.
@@bigsmerf8158 I'm sure you'll find it mate.
If Blizard makes Classic Wow Plus, please give Humans a Hunter Class.
I always thought it was weird that humans weren't included originally with hunters. But i guess (i heard somewhere in a video) that blizzard wanted to ensure more race diversity within the alliance side, which is why they didn't do it. I guess they thought too many people would ONLY play human.
Lol. And the cycle continues.
The best cycle in gaming history.
most important thing in choosing a wow class for me, who pushes the least buttons?
Mage at endgame, pally while levelling.
Warlock presses 1 button in pve
Mage / Warlock in PVE, Ret paladin overal, in pvp all classes presses alot of buttons imo. Even Ret.
If they removed defuff cap and gave slight balance to some classes I'd play .. I don't think classic will do to well after sod
I do think debuff cap might be removed, isnt it removed in classic era? I m actually not sure anymore..
But give it a shot mate, you ll see the first week if it ll be something for you or not
@@ThoGreyClassic right now on era realms there is a debuff cap
I think this will be more played than sod !
Id rather play era with gdkps.
@@mattlatham5670 my bad then, i'd also like them to remove debuff and buff cap aswell.
But yeah it still will be fun!
Warrior is BiS no other class matters
What is a warrior without a healer :p
#yeschanges
After 20 years, do we need that ? 🤣
Eh I felt I could make a video about what we learned in 2019 with my opinion attached to it ( since my pov is leaning more towards pvp but do want pve to also matter in the choice).
Meh
Why they doing classic AGAIN
Why not !
@ThoGreyClassic well, every 6mos or so there is a version of classic that comes out
Sod, mastery, etc....
Seems like they beat a dead horse dead
Just play Turtle wow you silly mfs its free
Lmao
The best class for fresh? None.
Not playing fresh mate?
Once you stumble into playing classic again, you know it’s time to venture into a different hobby.
I don't agree, but if you feel like that.. why did you click on a classic video ( unless I misunderstand you? )
Are we really making more class picking guide videos? Already like a thousand of them
take a look at the comment section mate. People are excited and opinions are different, even on a 20 y/o game.
My opinion is vastly different than in 2019 / 2020 / 2021. What I like or disliked, changed even over time. Don't be a killjoy, and take it in man.
and... why do you even click on it if you don't want them lol. You'll fill your whole recommendations by engaging with it lol
Then don't watch newb
Who is this guide for..... everyone knows this shit already lol
Aie. Take a look in the comment section, most liked the video and enjoyed to watch it..
Brah you don't need it scram. Your opinion is worth 0 and nobody asked for it. Thanks for the engagement though. God speed back to unicorn land! I liked the video although I know everything about the game.
Then why are you watching it? Get lost newb
Warrior....saved you hours of dumb guide watching. Oh cool another year of super fun classic where it's 40 warriors fighting over 1 drop.
Yeah let’s not go warrior because they are boring come tbc 😊
I meannnnn, For sure, having to play Warrior and share loot kinda sucks. But I think you exagerate the aspect of 25 warriors in a raid.
Most raids won't have that many because nobody wants to fight over loot that hard lol. Only tryhard guilds will have them.
@@ThoGreyClassictry hard guilds tend to poach the lucky/rigged lc ones from other guilds
Just play with normal people all classes are viable you can clear mc with half raid full. It is only an issue if you take it too seriously.
Why the hell would you level a warrior when lock, mage, hunter exist.
