At 2:23 when I mention about the 14" barrel being legal and reference if someone is cutting it yourself, it is illegal to do that which is why I said "I would not do that" and suggested buying a 14" barrel if available, that would require the proper paper work. Apparently I needed to explain that, I never suggested doing anything illegal, i clearly stated what was legal. Modifying a shotgun barrel is illegal and I stated that.
I like wood ... I understand your point. This is very comfy to shoot though and lightweight on the front end making a nice balanced feel. Some people want to have rails for light attachments or what have you. Sometimes can be an issue on shotguns for placement. I too am more of a traditionalist and don't use side mount rails on a shotgun.
Hey big man , always a pleasure , Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours , NOTE ! Don't buy any of the Escort products Hatsan usa , I've purchased 2 in the last couple of weeks and neither one will function , both are on their way for repair , I really don't think they will get them to function , I took a chance and lost .
This one is performing well, I had read a couple reviews on Bud's Gun website saying the lever broke when using it. Didn't have any issues and it was man handled. There was a couple of loose screws and bolts, maybe that was why the other people said the handle came off, I check for those things though.
Thanks for the heads up ... never heard of them, just Googled after you mentioned it. What models did you get? So if someone asks me sometime, I'll have an answer. Thanks for watching ... seriously.
@@megatrends Havent got one from them yet the reviews put me off the lever action. I am considering one of their bullpup 12 gauges. I've heard good things and seems after a break in with a few rounds of high brass they usually run with no issues.
@@megatrends , The Escort ps turkey in .410 , and the Escort ps .410 youth , neither one functioned right out of the box , I spent right at $1,000.00 in the 2 items and 5 boxes of Federal high brass shells , and both are on their way back for repair , I don't think either one will work reliably , I took two chances and lost both times .
I love lever guns.. and I own a lot of Turkish shotguns.. and since I already have the Norinco 1887 12ga lever action (and the Norinco 1897 pump action trench) I never considered one of these EG220 shotguns (and I still wont) - I originally wanted a lever gun in .410 gauge and considered the Turkish made Hanic .410 and Canuck Maverick and Wrangler .410 lever shotguns, the Revolution Arms LVR410 lever action, the Hunt Group L36 .410 lever action and even the Henry X Model.. but these Panzer EG220 line of lever shotguns that came out seem to be the cheapest and worst yet! They threw a "tactical" fore end with M-Lok on a POS and threw in a birds head grip, and put them out at an extremely low MSRP just to seal the deal for a lot of people who bought this shotgun NOT based on the proven and tested reliability and dependability claims from others.. but simply because it "looked cool" - good luck with that. I went with the short barreled Sulun Arm SR410 revolver shotgun instead. - Awesome. - and I am still undecided on a lever gun in .410 and may not even get one after all. Some shotguns just come with plain receivers.. some are drilled and tapped for scope bases and 20mm pic rails.. while others have the grooves cut on the top like what is shown on the Panzer - that is an "11mm Dovetail Groove" - made specifically for 11mm mounts and scope rings and this is a feature found on a lot of shotguns coming out of Turkey. It was produced from 1962 to 1965 and only 26,927 were built, and Remington claimed it was the world's fastest lever action rifle.. but it was totally not based on the Rem 870 line of pump action shotguns which Remington started manufacturing in 1950 - please do not insult us proud Remington owners by comparing the Legendary and Iconic Rem 870 to that Turkish made "Hideous Monstrosity of an abomination" -
The hole on the side is for a single point Q.D. sling to be attached. On Panzer Arms website they have a short video where a guy goes over the features he mentions that.
That silver looking long piece goes up into the receiver / bolt. The lever is not attached to it, a roller runs in the lever, like a roller cam type deal. Very little force from the lever actually actuates that long silver 'arm' you are talking about.
I hate the lever action hype/fad going on right now. It's not the lever action itself that I hate. I hate seeing people manipulated into buying decisions by an industry. Guns, pharmaceuticals, clothing... whatever it is. You can't resist the manipulation unless you notice it. You're welcome.
I have wanted a lever action shotgun since first seeing how Australians have had pump-action shotguns banned. I was amazed at how good this guy was with a lever action shotgun. Also you should understand that there are countries in the world where pump-action shotguns are illegal, so there is a market for lever action shotguns.

You do some of the best gun review videos on the web J. Beau. Down to earth and precise and to the point.
Thanks! Valencman
Thanks as always, glad you like them ... iot was so cold shooting though... hated it lol.
Would like to see this with a wood forend personally. Otherwise looks like a decent shotgun.

What is length of Barrel?
Would love to see how it holds up to a 500 round torture test.
If someone sends 500 rds to do it with, you got it! lol
I think I like it.
Very nice men. Greetings from🇹🇷

I would suggest relaxing and drinking less coffee.
That shotgun seems to be an answer to a question nobody asked.
To be fair it looks fun to try lever action using the same ammo I already have with this gun.
I'd like to have it ✋
Looks very similar to a Adler lever action 12 gauge
Nice
Thanks

Do not cut down your shotgun that is 100% not legal! It must come from the manufacturer that way.
I just see no purpose for that gun...but then, some would say the same about lever rifles...so, there ya' go!

Lever action guns have been around for 150+ years.
