Yea, counting push-ups as full body weight is kind of cheating. Following question - did they count in their body weight doing deadlift, because it would follow the same logic? But anyway great video.

@@Robyamdam every time I see someone replying to a genuine question with this kind of response I’m always convinced it’s some 10-12 year old little boy on a computer in their room at 3 am
That was fun, watching. 😂 Well done. I’m tempted to do similar but with half the weight. I have a non-broken smith machine and various different bars and benches. Should be a laugh. I’m 58 years old and you guys have inspired me. ❤
Impressive, though push ups don't involve lifting the entire body weight. I did diamond push ups with hands on a bathroom scale, and it turned out only around half my body weight. Not that I could come even close to what you two have done here!
It seems like you guys did it the hard way and I salute you for that, cause I personally would have done rows, bench, shrugs, curls, and with push-ups aka the easy way out lol
I would do deadlift, squat, and bench. And do each exercise one at a time until I could do anymore at 135 lbs. then I’d do pull-ups and just do the exercises with the bar.
Erm, it is actually approximately the closest I could get to the actual thing where it showed the words were at 0:15 “G R O U N D”. Just letting u know as a nerd who decides to correct any mistakes.
Everything except that final countdown clock in editing was top notch. Seriously, it went at superspeed AND was too far behind at different times! You could see their irl countdown in a couple of scenes while the edited one was still there and they didn't align at all..
I tried today how far I could go with only deadlifts. I did sets of 10 deadlifts at 100kg with a rest time of 1minute 15secondes between sets. With the setup time before each set and the time to lift, I ended up doing 32sets in 1 hour for a total of 32tons (70548pounds). This was just a test so I went for sets, rest time and weights I was 100% sure I could handle, overall, this felt much less intense than my regular workouts, the biggest problem being the recovery time (as a powerlifter, I'm used to 3-4minutes of rest time between sets, sometimes going up to 10minutes when I'm going after new PRs). Most of the sets were done with conventional deadlift but every 5-6sets, I pulled sumo to let my spinal erectors rest a bit. I need to add 42% to my total to reach the 100k pounds so the next time I will try lowering the resting time between sets to 1minute. Each set was, on average, 112.5secondes long today so lowering that time by 15secondes would allow me to do 37sets (15% increase). Adding 10kilos (10% increase) and doing series of 11 instead of 10 (an other 10% increase) would push my total to 44770kilos (98700 pounds), less than 6 reps away from 100k so I guess I could squeeze an extra rep every 6 sets to reach the 100k. Next week I will try with the lower rest time, then after that I will try sets of 11 (with a set of 12 once every 6 sets). Depending on how I feel after those 2, the next time I will either add the 10 kilos at once or do it in increments of 2.5 or 5kilos.
@@_uchiha Update time! Shortening the rest time turned up to be a bad idea.
