As a rooinek growing up in SA in the 80s and 90's I couldn't stand rugby (for obvious reasons) A minority in the population / government saw us in the same light as they did the folks who didnt have a white skin. When SA won in 95 I had no idea and couldn't care less. As the team started to come into its own I found my love and respect for the team. If any of those black / coloured / Indian folk are supporting the All blacks because of what happened in the past. Just remember there is no going forward living in the past. That mentality will never be part of the solution. To still play the victim 30 years later is a kak excuse guys. Growing up in SA I was never proud to be a South African. Now that's a different story. Go Bokke!!!
Saru should ashamed of themselves pricing the tickets so high that the actual supporters couldn't afford it I mean 4500 for a ticket is ridiculous the average SA or cpt citizen can't even put food on th table
It's simply supply and demand. You should be happy the country gets to charge premium prices because 1. everyone (including people across the world) wants to watch them play live. 2. It means they are doing well, and can charge those prices because they fill stadiums. 3. This forms part of the Springboks income. For a team still in dept, I would think someone who loves the Boks would be happy that they are doing well and can get more money for doing so. The problem isn't stadium prices, the problem is TV subscription prices. Every South African should be able to watch the Boks play on TV or public spaces without breaking the bank.
Good job!🙂
