Nikon AF600 Beach Street Photography | Kodak Ektachrome 100

Beach street photography with Nikon AF600 and Kodak Ektachrome 100. This camera is not very popular in the Western world, and I pick it up for an excellent price. This small point-and-shoot camera has a fixed 28mm f/3.5, the perfect focal length for my style of street photography. I thought I put a roll of Kodak Ektachrome, a positive slide film, in this superb point-and-shoot camera, the Nikon AF600. This camera is about the same size as my Ricoh GRIII and fits in my jeans pocket. I will be showing more of this camera in future videos.

This film has some pretty interestin quality. The colors seem to pop more unless its done in post via urself.

The film is known to have a lot of blues and strong reds and yellows. I had to colour balance as I DSLR/mirror scan the Slide and do a few adjustments.

Are you able to re-frame with this camera? You know by half pressing the shutter button to have AF lock or does it focus only when you press the shutter button all the way?

You can and half way press to focus but on this copy of the camera is not very good unfortunately. The focusing is not great compared to other point and shoot cameras I have used.
