Canning BBQ Pulled Pork! Easy Pressure Canning Recipe!

Hi everyone! I have a much requested video for BBQ pork! This is so delicious and easy to make! It really needs to be on your shelf! The bbq sauce is delicious by itself! I will have the recipe down below!!
BBQ Pulled Pork
1 1/2 c chopped onion
1 1/2 c ketchup
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tbsp Brown mustard
2 Tbsp honey
3 garlic cloves minced
1 4 to 5 lb boneless shoulder roast (Boston Butt) Cut into large chunks
Combine all ingredients except the chunks of pork
in pot using a stainless steel or Dutch Oven.
Add chunks of pork
Bring to a boil
Reduce to simmer and cook 5 minutes
Then it's ready to can

It’s so good and especially then you can put it on your shelf and you don’t even have to defrost it just throw it in a pan and heat it up!

Glad I found your video (and doubly glad it is a Ball recipe!) I looked on their website and didn't find it. All I could find were videos of people canning smoked (previously cooked) pork butt. This looks really good. Thanks again!

It took me a long time to start! I watched videos and read everything about it for at least a year before I started. And I practiced with water but it’s really easy once you follow the rules exactly
I am so interested in pressure canning, just nervous about it. I think canned BBQ pork sounds delicious.
I waited a couple years before pressure canning and I just watched and read everything I could before I started and then I practiced with water. It is really simple but as long as you go by the rules it’s awesome!

This is the best bbq sauce I have ever eaten! I had vidalia onions on hand so used them, but otherwise followed recipe exactly. I tripled it to make 10 pts of bbq pork. It'd be delicious for sloppy joes or as a sauce for meatloaf. I'm going to make more and can in jelly jars!

Canning salsa is really easy and you don't need a pressure canner. It's so good!

Looks excellent! Making this tomorrow! Except it’s extremely dangerous to use a pressure canner on a tempered glass cooktop!!! Your pressure canner manual should have stated that.

I had no idea you could can meat !!!! So how long can you keep it in a jar ?? Can you do it to any meat or only pork ?? This looks delicious.
Yes canning meat is so easy! You can keep it at least a year on the shelf! I can chicken and beef too. You can do pork without the sauce too! I love it and it makes meals so easy to just grab it off the shelf. I have some older videos here where I canned chicken. It's really easy!
May I ask which Ball book you used?
I used the All New Ball Book Of Canning. It has lots of different recipes instead of just the basics. It has some great recipes in there. This bbq was so good!
As this is a recipe for "pulled" pork, I was hoping to see when and how it is pulled apart. Is it easy to pull after it has been pressure canned?
It shreds up easily. Any kind of meat that is canned just tastes so good. It just falls apart.
I didn't know meat could be canned. Those old type pressure cookers scare me. My ex mother in law used hers a lot.
It took me 2 years to get my courage up to use mine.
Why does your steam vent look dark and corroded?
It did turn dark, but it’s not corroded. It’s just a dark spot on it. I don’t know how it got that way
