It’s normal to have a lot of metal at first because of the brand new parts getting broken in. You will see less metal as you do more oil changes. I had the same on my first change and on my second change, I practically had none. Also, the first oil isn’t exactly motor oil. It’s shipping oil. The stuff they put in to keep things lubricated while in the warehouse. That’s why there not very much. Also the gear oil will come back out if you don’t plug it immediately. I use a giant syringe to squirt it in. It takes 110ml of gear oil. Squirt it in with the syringe and plug it right back up with the screw.
Ok good to know. It shocked me, but I’ve never had a brand new scooter before so I’m still learning, collecting and giving information. Still not a lot of info or videos on the tank models yet.
@@DADisTIRED I have the Deluxe version. Pretty much the same but with the bigger tires and side luggage boxes. It’s a fun ride. I’m loving the Tank. I have a couple videos on it but they’re not mechanical. Just fun rides lol.
When you first get this bike delivered, one of the first things to do is change the oil before operation. Also change the gear oil before operation . I recommend changing the spark plug to high performance plug. After that drive your bike to your local moped shop and get the belt change and rear shocks. After all these things, the bike should operate flawlessly.
Don brother I'm glad to see you doing your oil change the gear oil is very white and new looking but it's not enough it's a drop when I drained the factory one out plus it's cheap glad to see you put good gear oil and filled it in enough don't worry your scooter is still going to run all though the metal shafein good video king keep up the grind and you will go big😎
Which gear oil did u use? The sticker on my tank 200 says only use GL-3 gear oil. But walmart, o’reiley, and amazon only have GL-5 and GL-4. My local motorcycle shop said they never even heard of GL-3.

Great job changing the #oil on your #scooter 😉☺️💜
My first oil change is coming up after the initial break in period and I might just do it myself 💀🥂
Thank you man
Where you been Don? Miss watching your videos

Whats that gear oil you are using?
Need heavier oil man
Wats up. My tank200 randomly shut down on me. After 600 miles. I charged battery and changed fuses. What do you think the problem would be?
Spark plug or stator coil.
um if I accidently drained the oil from where the filter/screen is, then put new back in, do I need to redo the whole thing?
When you say redo?
