SO WILD!! I pulled the block off a scooter that had the 100cc big block and sure enough in the cowling on the block was where somebody placed the old seal from the clutch. Still leaks. Your video made the whole process less cryptic. Now I know exactly what to do. Thanks for the great video. You did two really smart things. One you had a great unstressed attitude about the whole thing. Two you had the camera on a headband which freed up both hands. This is the number one problem for most videos and your video was so much better because of it.
No problem brother, If you haven't subscribed it's one way you can help me out even if you don't come back to this channel for anything it still helps me move forward and want to keep making content. Cheers big guy
Great how-to video Dan I started making win the other night I'm putting the lights on the front of the truck and I got frustrated in stop making it and I just had the end result that great job as always enjoyed
Great video. Slightly different process for 150cc gy6 motors however. 150cc will have a gear cog on the crankshaft there, (behind the variator) that has to be pulled with a puller!
Hey I know it's been a while since this video posted but I cannot find anything on the tube to help me. I have a 2022 gy6 150cc leaking oil behind the gear you mentioned. Do you know of any video to help replace that seal or even how to order it?
@@joshuahembree5349did you ever figure anything out ?? I just bought seals so now I’m like what the heck what’s a puller 😂. But anyways my2021 qurantum 150cc is also leaking oil around there too
Hey Man I love your videos bro. I need your help please. I have a moped, and I’m new to the moped. I just got it new here is my problem my friend. The headlights stay ON even if my Key is in my pocket and the Engine is OFF???🤔 I don’t no what to do??? It keeps killing my battery.🪫 I have to disconnect the power cord from the battery to shut it off every time!!! Please help me out sir I would really appreciate it thanks again and I hope to hear from you, or can you please make a small video of that I will watch it.👌🤔🏍️💫🌏
Try putting a kill switch between the battery and the battery connection that way you can just turn the scooter off with the flip of a toggle switch and it will completely kill all power going to the rest of the scooter.
I have a new Keeway 50cc scooter. I dropped it very lightly on left side. I couldn't see any damage besides this oil leak. what can it be? thank you for the video
Was given one of these scoots that has this leak but only after I’ve been cruising up a steep hill. It bogs like crazy and dies. Go to restart and it has low compression. First time it happened I let it sit for a bit and it started back up. Today I heard a bit of metal clunking around before it died. I’ve got low compression again, doesn’t wanna start. Any ideas where to start poking around?
@@IFixShet yeah probably. Def needs a valve adjustment. Intake & exhaust almost fully closed. Here’s a fun question. How fast should one of these 49cc scooters go with a 185lb rider? Cause this one goes like 50mph+ according to the bike’s speedo. Wondering if maybe they put a bbk in it and I destroyed it lol

have a 50cc upgraded with an 80cc big bore kit.. was running great for the past 2000 miles changed oil at 6000 then yesterday lost power checked oil this morning was bone dry , so added more now its burning oil. im assuming i need a new set of piston rings but the cylinder has no gashes and is smooth and it gets compression its turns over then bogs and dies.. also may have the hoses wrong.. any advice would be great
@@IFixShet i was just going to go ahead and upgrade and get a 100cc kit anyways so that may fix the issue.. I'm burning a lot of oil and it's coming out of the PCV from the head. I saw something about an oil catch can but I don't want to add too much extra stuff

Should be about the same process yes

Sorry man I don't do two stroke stuff on this channel

thanks for the helpfull video, i replaced the oil seal and took it for a ride but it is still leaking. Can there be any further causes ?
I would say the oil seal is not installed correctly if it is still leaking from that area
that vario should come off easy... i doubt its properly working when its that tight.

Sounds like your valves are trashed or your bottom end is starting to go out on the scooter

I'm not sure I understand what part of the video you're talking about I haven't seen anything White
@@IFixShet i think that he was talking about the fuel filter
but you said that oil can leak from 3 possible areas. where are the other two?
Clutch seal, Crank seal, Main seal
What's the weight of the rollers on this scooter?
What did you use to push the seal in?
Just a piece of PVC pipe
