I choose to blend with a Vitamix instead of juicing. Get the prebiotic so that way. Is this okay for this recipe Dr. Axe? Should anything be peeled first? Also is this too much sugar if following leaky-gut syndrome protocol?

The pulp that is discarded is that healthy as well? Seems like a waste.

+John Mal Mostly just fiber which is good but the vast majority of the nutrients are in the juice. Fiber is easy to include in ones diet. You can try the pulp on a baking sheet then grind it in a blender or spice grinder and add other dried stuff like onion powder or spices and use as a seasoning. Or put the pulp in a blender with water and run the blender then pour through a cheesecloth and extract more "juice."

No problem. I also always set aside some of the pulp for treats for my birds and dogs. I'm sure there are lots of other good ideas out there. I've read that a person absorbs 4-8 times more nutrients juicing than if you blended which is huge. So there is waste as in the pulp but as far as nutrition goes it is actually much more economical if you are doing it for health purposes. I personally juice a bunch of really healthy stuff that tastes like shit once a week then drink a 1/2 to one cup of the juice once or twice a day every day of the week and just down it. It's a myth that juice has to be drunk right away. You lose some enzyme activity the longer it is in the fridge but you gain antioxidants as it very very slowly ferments which it really won't very much at all in 1 weeks time. If you juice some lemon and add cinnamon powder it helps preserve it also.

Do you have to get the 500 dollar juicer or are there ones that are affordable and work? I never tried it before and me and my wife are thinking about getting one. I never really liked vitamin pills I don't think they really get absorbed by our bodies. The juicing just seems to make so much more sense because its actual food.

I got the 300 dollar omega juicer that is a masticating juicer which crushes and squeezes out the juice. You basically have to get one of those if you want to juice any greens otherwise they are wasted hardly any juice will come out of them. I only do it for health purposes so that is largely greens so I don't use the other kind. But if you want something that juices quick and want to mostly make just juice to drink and enjoy like carrot juice and fruits then the cheaper ones are not bad for that sort of thing. So it's all what you hope to accomplish. Something like the omega will last forever though. It's like the vitamix once you have it you have it almost for life.
Ya most vitamins in grocery stores are garbage. Even vitamin shops sometimes it's hard to find decent stuff. I get all my stuff from swanson they have their own brand which they sell almost everything under for a decently cheaper price. But the kicker is about once every 4 months they have a sale for 20-25% of their brand. So the savings are huge and it's all high end supplements packaged under their brand so the best of the best quality if you get said form of vitamin or mineral or whatever. They of course have the cheaper less effective forms too so you got to know what to order. Shipping is cheap always 5 dollars or almost always free during a sale.
      Here is the site
      www.swansonvitamins.com//
albion is pretty much the best form for minerals it's in many high end multis. Orotate is a good form too. Their multi albion is good and quite cheap like 5.80-6.00 depending on sale for 2 months.

This is a very good b complex.
      www.swansonvitamins.com/swanson-ultra-activated-b-complex-high-bioavailability-60-veg-caps
Vitality C or Bio Energy C is the best oral vitamin C on the market. If you can afford it then you should be using this stuff it is unbelievable. Those are same product two different companies who are aloud to use the patent to make it. Prices vary so which ever is cheapest.

Hope this helps. Don't want to spam too much stuff but those 3 things are some real basic really important things to take.
Also that vitamin C 4 grams+ twice a day and acs silver extra strength from results rna, and Wobenzym will knock out practically any infection extremely fast.
