Kev, you are a realy hard worker and do thosse jobs again and again, you must be a very strong guy work on the floor and fix thoose cars , and know your things great great respeckt!! regards from the netherlands
Full send bro 😏 🤙 never lift ty for the video almost 100K. I hope soon you'll get an evo x job hahah ooo btw bro always wanted to know how long does it take you to do a job once your on site curious is all 🤔 and if I may ask what's the cost of the job like ball park range cool you got your 4ton jack back 🙌
That is the best news I’ve heard for a long while. That’s fantastic that you’ve got yourself in a decent trade. Many doors will be unlocked as you move forward.
I love the Ford IB5/Zetec setup.. I just wonder how do you handle the gearbox on your chest, because the last time I had it on it bruised me quite well 🤔 BTW was that the new Split Pressure Plate design? 🤣🤣
Even Kevin , have you ever had a lower arm ball joint had the better of you , I remember a focus when the drive shaft wouldn’t come out the hub , you did a few years back, but never seen a bottom ball joint beat you
I never force the driveshaft out of the hub.. even last week’s repair on the focus I had to leave it in. Constant hammering impact to get it out will decouple the wheel bearing and the whole thing will become loose and bearing will need to be replaced there and then. For me that’s not a good day at the office. But the Lower suspension arm is designed to take a beating as the whole weight of the car rest solely on them. They can take a pot hole hit of over 70mph. So the hammer is just a little tickle to get it to loosen up and get into something more comfortable 😁🍻
@@WMCS Hi Kev, I got some grip sense orange gloves from amazon. They are a fiver for 50 at the mo! When i got them, the little label inside showed they were made 2020 so a year out of date, I dont think this will affect them, they seem strong to me. Cheers.
The conical design with the extra low manoeuvrability of the suspension arm makes it very challenging to separate. These designs are usually found in big box van etc .. makes no sense to use in a car design. But they do come apart like all the rest .. I refuse to treat them differently 🍻😁
Thank you Kevin. Hillarious last comment there. Could not stop laugh. Same as last week when my son asked me why I scream when I watch your videos. All I said was that Im glad im not sitting next to Kevin when he drives to the workplaces. Wrong side of the road and you British people doesent seem to care how you park alongside the roads exactly everywhere. He laughed and said, Kevin is lucy he doesent have a old fart Swedish guy next to him then 😳
Another great video (compliation) , got the master cylinder fitted on the insignia, then the leak moved to the elbow on the bellhousing, no idea how it comes off, the feed pipe is easy enough but from what I have seen there are 3 lugs from the slave side that hold the elbow. I thought if I pulled out the clip, it would just slide off like the master, nope lol. Anyway have a geat sunday. The slave isn't gone, I can bleed it and get the clurch back no problem but there must be an issue with the elbow connection as there is no visible leak but now comes out from the undertray (bell housing I assume) which I think happens when the elbow has an issue (maybe twisted a seal while bleeding), one day it'll get there lol
Mark sorry to hear problem still persist. There’s a rubber cap between the joints. A lot of times they leak and fluid drips into bell housing. You can get some off eBay for a few pennies.
Hi Kevin, I have a question. In the Jeep Renegade, when you remove the gearbox, you keep the transfer case in place or remove it along with the gearbox. thanks.
Always separate it it’s easily removed and access becomes very clear plus the weight drops about 1/3. Gearbox becomes more easily manoeuvrable for removal.

The 4 tonne Jack is broken again.
The repair itself rarely exceeds 4 hrs total. But setting up and packing up plus filming always adds an etra two hrs
It broke again what the heck ooo i see so like 6hrs in total not including drive time yeah that seems accurate ty for your input bro @@WMCS
when do you rest? you always work man.. greetings from Croatia
What an amazing work. Facing harsh conditions, you make it look so simple... Keep it up! 💪💪
I owe it to you for awakening the passion for mechanics in my heart two years ago. Now I am training and working in a car repair facility. Thank you.

Ahoj. Já si nemůžu pomoct. Jsi neskutečný borec . To rozebírání máš v hlavě, nebo to musíš před akcí nastudovat ?
Nothing left to chance. I always study before getting out onsite. The race must be won before the getting on the line.
11/04/2024 ! You working into the future, Kev? What next , a DeLorean clutch !!
I think you’re having a “Mandela effect”moment there mate 😁🍻🍻
Hi Kevin you still bise mate you a good work 😅

56:51 Can the car move with such a crack in the Pressure Plate? Are there any extraneous sounds with such a crack?
It would move as it’s all bolted onto the flywheel. But it’ll be very hard to get into gears.
Saya kok ngeri lihat Jack stand nya, im from Indonesia
.
Why someone qualified should travel 2 hours or more and not open a repair shop??
Uh oh .. we have a connoisseur
hi, what is easier to do with rear wheel drive or front wheel drive? and it’s generally very cool and unusual
I suppose it depends on manufacturer. BMW has the best RWD set up in the business.
Toyota Lexus can be a bit painful as a RWD
❤❤❤🎉
🍻🍻🍻thanks for tuning in.
Good ❤
No lost bolts, nuts, clamps, plates, fixtures...KEVIN ROCKS!
kev, please can you tell me what gloves you use? I am always splitting mine, you never seem to. Thanks.
It’s orange nitrile extra.

Lot of details for psa 1.6 hdi, imagine all the work with traditional tools!!!😮
Great job as always! I have come to the conclusion that you've fitted a new clutch to every mini in the country now, that's 2 weeks with no mini's.
