He was amazing: Fathered 20 children, some of which became musicians themselves, but not as prolific as their father. He traveled throughout his career, and even returned from one trip to find out, not only had his wife died, but was already buried sans his knowledge! (No telephones in those days)! Extraordinary! Stay away from hatred and despair. It never makes you truly happy.
Go back to music, if hatred tries to creep up into your soul.

what?????
Bach’s music must quench the dryness of the soul, and evoke comfortable feelings and a peace of mind , and embody greatness of pleasure and impression
I never would have listened to this kind of music until I had to do a Presentation about BACH. I love this now. He was such a great composer.
For me he is. Timeless.
Nobody does it better than Bach Bach is the BEST.
Amo Bach ...la escucho cada vez que escribo y me motiva muchísimo y me calma a la vez ...maravillosa música ...
This is Elizabeth Wallfisch, violin, performing with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment where the pitch has been lowered to 392 hz from the original recording for this upload for some reason. There is no ITS Orchestra nor is there a Louis Jullien. The oboist in BWV 1060 is Anthony Robson and the other violinist in BWV 1043 is Alison Bury.
@redbrian3655 Thank you so much for posting. Your comment SHOULD BE way up at the top of the list. With your information/correction I can now seek out these recordings at my local University Phonothèque. Thanks again, cheers!!!

First 3 seconds into this, gave you a thumbs up....or I could say, gave Bach a thumbs up!
I knew I would enjoy your video, thank you.
This music touches my soul. These artists make me feel at one with what they are creating with their instruments.
I absolutely love classical music (always have). And yet, I must say Johann Sebastian Bach is my very favourite! He was amazing: Fathered 20 children, some of which became musicians themselves, but not as prolific as their father. He traveled throughout his career, and even returned from one trip to find out, not only had his wife died, but was already buried sans his knowledge! (No telephones in those days)! Extraordinary!
