Ive always wondered what the 40's/50's generation thought of the baby boomers/hippies, and what did the hippies think of the 80's generation etc. Looking back now from here 50'/60's/70's/80's/90's produced some great music too. YES currently everything looks nasty and messed up but we don't know whats coming after this in the next 10/20 years, which perhaps may make the present one look more diviner, to be honest.

My dogs thank you for this compilation. Every time we have bad weather - thunder and lighting- we all gather around and listen to baroque music. This adagio compilation works the best to calm them and I just love the music.
If I could “Like” more than once, I would. Very thoughtful compilation and editing (sequence). Divinely beautiful music, just what God intends it to be. My 6-month old baby is evidently in trance and pauses to listen whenever I play this album - I listened to it a lot most of last year (2018) when I was pregnant with her, she probably remembers it from the womb.
For me, I find the Baroque period the most satisfying. Nothing too excessive or confusing for the musical pallet, simple, well-arranged pieces that uplift, enliven, and sooth.

Baroque Adagios and Sonatas make me feel like I'm flying through clouds. I can close my eyes and listen, I can lay wide awake, I can stare at the sky and stars, I can smile, I can cry. This always makes me feel full, loved, loving, generous, happy, sometimes sad, but always introspective and hopeful. As if the music is completely explaining the world around me but nobody else can hear the beautiful message.
