Doug Bradley is one of the most down to earth people ever, I met him at horror hound weekend a few years ago and he literally talked with a friend and I for like an hour
Amazing video. Doug Bradley as a guest while visiting this killer location? Insane video quality. People like you two make life better when you bring us with you, as we share the same passion. Cheers!
One of the most iconic humans ever ❤ for someone who played such a gruesome character, Doug has the kindest eyes and the most down to earth attitude. You guys are so lucky to have met a gem like him❤
Very well done, very affectionate. The house is wonderful on its own merit. Doug Bradley is such a sweetheart. The gentleman hosting is knowledgeable and interesting. A great Halloween special!
This was fantastic. Loved hearing Doug talking about our Bonfire Night and Halloween over here in UK. Thank you guys for bringing such a fantastic show.
UK?oh yea joanne,,,what a pity that barker did not give him financing here,he should not have fallen with new world pictures or another yankee movie house,,,they could not have dismembered hellraiser 87 and fucking everything with bad sequels to distribute the money,,
This was a masterpiece! A milestone for your channel. As good and better than any of the primary productions created for cable channels with huge budgets and crews.
I could listen to Doug speak about anything and everything for hours! What a wonderful human! I absolutely loved his explanation of why Halloween is so magical. And Buffalo Bill's house...that is amazing!
It's amazing watching Doug talk about acting and film. You can really feel his experience and love for the craft. He's probably also thrilled to not have to yield constant Pinhead questions as well
BRAVO! YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN MICHAEL AND JESS! THIS IS WHY GRIMMLIFE COLLECTIVE IS THE BEST CHANNEL. LOVED THIS! CANT WAIT TO SEE THE SAW SPECIAL NEXT! BAD BOOTY AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN!🕷🕸🎃👻💀🦇
Right after they released this, I visited it and it was so amazing! Also, my grandfather had worked on the railroad for 40 years and he worked all over the US and he worked on the railroad beside this house and he always found it awesome working next to the house! ❤
OMG wow Pinhead knew Samhain aarrgg I cant love this man anymore than I do.... Doug you are truly a gent and a wonder... what a superb Halloween edition guys absolutely killed it..... loved this episode,,,, Happy Samhain to you and all your amazing viewers... Bright Blessings one and all xxx 🌛🌝🌜
I am a big fan of Ted Levine as the gruff Leland Stottlemyer on MONK, and was floored to find out it was him playing Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs (only saw it once). Levine is such a good, but sadly underrated, actor.
I saw this film at age 18 and to say it scared the hell out of me and changed me forever is an understatement. I had never see anything as dark and I wasn't even sure what I was witnessing. Such an iconic film. Chris’ enthusiasm and his wonderful work and preservation of this awesome house is so amazing! Can't wait to visit someday! 👍🏻
I loved this one. Love silence of the lambs. Loved that doug bradley was there with. But i was kind if hoping you would have him recite some of his famous pinhead lines. But i still love this halloween special.
Not sure how i came across your channel last week, but i did aqnd you two changed my life !! Love, love, love the videos you have been doing. I binge watch for hours. Thank you for your professionalism, your dedication, your integrity, your caring of the subjects you explore. Wonderful wonderful explanations as you meander through all the different scenes.
I met Doug once on my birthday in November 2005, Birmingham, England. He was an absolute gentleman. When everyone else was charging £20-30 for an autograph, Doug only asked for £5. He signed my Hellraiser puzzle box DVD ☺️ It was the same day i saw George Romero, Tom Savini on his way to the toilet 😂 and met the entire cast of The Devils Rejects as they were doing their UK promo stuff. Michael Berryman was a joy to chat with. George was over with some of the cast of Land of the Dead for the film's release. Great show, good memories 🖤
Anthony Hopkins truly was the right choice for the part of Hannibal, it couldn't have been done any better, his voice was supposed to be that of a highly intelligent psychiatrist from England. I enjoyed your Halloween presentation. 😻
I also liked the original, "Manhunter". While Brian Cox's portrayal of Hannibal Lecter didn't match that of Hopkins, Tom Noonan's portrayal of Tooth Fairy was top notch and scary.
I’m so excited to finally see this! I’ve been waiting for it since you first announced you got the invitation to the house. I absolutely love The Silence of The Lambs and Ted Levine as Buffalo Bill. He was brilliant and contributed quite a lot more than most people know about his scenes, the music, etc. I’m so glad you two made it there. Happy Halloween! 📽🖤🎃🖤🎞
Wow, this was a joy to watch. I’m a huge fan of Doug. I can listen to him all day speak. Especially on pinhead character. Awesome video. #HappyHalloween
Omg!! The best video yet. The interview with Doug Bradley ( aka pin head) was amazing. And the walk through the house with him and the owner as we see the house that was used for the movie. Bravo! The whole hour of this was so beautifuly done. 🎃.
Absolutely BRILLIANT Halloween special. Doug is such a lovely man! I mean, hellraiser!!! We are celebrating Halloween more now in the UK with more spooky mazes, pumpkin patches and haunted nights popping up. We would trick or treat in the 80s and 90s and used to get a large bounty of sweets :)
This was awesome! And now I want to go stay here. Also...I got into a horror con in Atlantic City, NJ (YEARS ago) super early and got to have a 15 minute conversation with Doug Bradley before anyone came in. What a genuinely kind human being. A truly cherished memory for me...as a fan. Loved watching this. You guys are adorable, too. Keep up the amazing work!
This was a lot of fun. I've never heard Doug interviewed. I would have asked who is his favorite Dr. Who 😉. To your point Michael about the location and the dog barking, the train, the bonfire ...what a perfectly benign setting that makes setting of the house more perfect for a serial killer blending in
Doug should of said just before you all entered the house "we've got such sights to show you", that would of been so awesome, i think i would of had a horrorgasm for real haha
I was waiting to see the arcade style games back there, lol. What a great thing Chris has done. I love the work you have put into these. Great Job and great interview as always.
I love your channel, I love how charismatic the two are, I see you from Mexico City, I wish I could go to the places you go, but I settle for watching your incredible videos, success and happiness for both. Happy Halloween and Day of the Dead. Greetings.
Devils Night doesn't really happen in SW PA like it did when I was growing up -- Not as many kids out after sundown, too many door cams. It...But even at it's worst,it never got close to how bad things got in Detroit, DC,& Philly in the '80s-'90s
Loved this video! I met Doug at a horror convention years ago and he is such an amazing person to talk to. I'm glad you were able to share this moment with him going to Buffalo Bill's house. I also love Doug's explanation of Halloween over Christmas. It's exactly how I feel and hate how people will judge me for not celebrating Christmas but I will Halloween. Anyways, love the videos. Keep them coming!
Doug is so rich in knowledge we could listen to him for hour upon hour, Great GrimmLife Halloween Treat with a little Trick. Michael & Jess beautiful entertainment, thank you spooky much!
This is one of your best video’s ever. People like you is what makes one watch these video’s. Doug and Chris are so cool. Thank you 🙏🏽 keep up your wonderful job. Bless you!
I seem to remember Thomas Harris writing in the Silence of the Lambs that Lecter's voice has a metallic edge, possibly from under use. One of my choices for Hannibal would've been another British actor called David Suchet. Would love to visit this location, and I really enjoyed the vid' 👍
I wonder how many people have been brave enough to stay there and watch the movie at night and then explore the house. That is now my dream to do lol. This whole video was absolutely amazing. Having Doug there and him reading the call time sheet was phenomenal(I know it's weird). He did an amazing job on decorating the house and the knowledge is priceless.
Many Thanks!!!…Such a great episode!!! … Chris and Steph really have struck such a wonderful balance in the way they present the house and all the wonderful details and history!… Definitely on my “hope I can get there and see that someday” list… If I don’t get make it there, this episode really gave me a great sense of having seen it!… The conversation on the porch with Doug was awesomeness too… I could listen to him all day!!! Happy Halloween and Safe Travels! 🙋♀️💕🌻
This was basically just amazing!!Doug is such a cool cat.And so knowledgable! Thank you for an amazing video ,you two, and a huge thank you to Doug for beeing in the video adding something truly special.Greetings from Norway ,Stefan
The good thing and the bad thing about the likes of Bradley and Englund, is that they were so good in their roles, that will not get sequels or reboots without thinking "Yeah...its not the same"
You guys are just the freaking best, every time I think you can't outdo yourselves you go and produce yet another insanely amazing video! I appreciate everything you do, keep up the amazing work! How crazy was it to be walking through the SOTL House with freaking Pinhead?
You can take that wallpaper sample and have it reproduced so that you could actually reappear the kitchen properly - saw it done when they had the show about the Brady house.
Super cool with Doug Bradley! I’ve considered purchasing various replicas of the puzzle box, along with dedicating a room in my house to a Hellraiser Theme. BIG fan!
How absolutely exciting that you guys not only got to tour Buffalo Bill's house, but to be able to do it with Pinhead!!!! I was overly excited to watch. You guys must have been out of your mind excited for the opportunity! 💚
I have to say i througly enjoyed the vintage clip of the family at the near beginning of this episode. The father brought all the Fall and Halloween decorations home to carve pumpkins with his family. So wholesome.
Absolutely amazing tour and interview. Your quality of work is large network by far, yet iam so happy you are apart of our youtube family hope you never leave. Love you and Baby Ghoul🖤
Some parts of this are a refreshing conversation between two people interested in Euro Pagan roots and traditions just being humble and talking (it's on the BB / SotL video, yeah I don't care, as long as we get some history and context and dialog, it is a good thing I think). This is happening online in many contexts and in any platform it occurs that it may spark interest I basically support. No huff and puff BS here. Very refreshing. It's ok to start somewhere. There are probably VERY FEW IF ANY of those of us living who have Euro heritage that can trace their ancestors back through a line that is UNSPOILED by Christianity. We were forced to convert or die. I think 99.9999% of us were crushed by the Church. Talk about occupation and genocide. Few remember or take into account that European Pagans were among those indigenous peoples who were exterminated and crushed by Christinity. It's time to remember. Don't be afraid to ask questions and talk amongst ourselves. It takes nothing away from others and it only makes us remember ourselves. As it is with many indigenous cultures. Remember your roots. Remember yourself. Turn upside down and look back at the branches AND the roots. ☆♡☆
Can't believe I've never seen this episode before! What an interesting and insightful video this is to my favourite modern suspense thriller. And yes! Would love to get some fellow fans from British Columbia to have a sleep over in this awesome old homestead! Many thanks for all the hard work putting this together. Much appreciated ! Cheers!
Such a great video. Doug Bradley talking about Halloween history is great 1:04:19. Topics dear to my heart. Doug on November being the Blood Month is great 1:06:30. You slaughter that years pig to eat through the following year. We Americans do celebrate our harvest festival a month late. By the third Thursday of November we should be eating fresh blood pudding!
Not trying to over pick but he said the screen door was the original from the movie but watching the clip it had square glass in it and that one does not. Still very cool though.
I noticed that too. But when they show the clip of the house from the outside with the ambulance and cop cars the storm door does look the the present day one. It is weird because they are obviously two different doors.
I was scrolling through the comments to see if anyone else brought this up and glad you guys did. I was thinking the same thing. Obviously two different doors.
Doug Bradley in Buffalo Bill’s house? It’s Christmas on Halloween for me. This is MY personal favorite episode you guys have done yet, and happens to be my favorite Halloween special for 2021 on UA-cam as well. 10/10 🤘😎 Thank you!
"Remember children., It's important to be comfortable in your own skin, because it's illegal to wear somebody else's " words to live by, hysterical
it's a shame that real handbags are illegal...
😄
We all come into the world in the same way. Naked, covered in blood and screaming.
With the right life choices it doesn't have to end there.
Chris is just 100% pure passion.
The way he talks about his house is amazing.
Ya know, just sitting on Buffalo Bill’s porch chatting with Doug Bradley, no biggie. You guys are spooky legends. 🧡

@shadow angel of the dark Hell yeah, happy halloween!
Not gonna lie; I'd probably "geek out" if I got to meet Doug Bradley. And I don't normally do that with celebrities lol
Love this
Same here, there a few people thatvreally makes me goosebumps, and hes one of them.
Doug Bradley seems wonderful. I'd love to visit the house. Cool that the homeowner embraces the history.
It's crazy hearing Doug's voice being so soft and smooth rather then being like pinhead's deep voice
I... remember.
@ShadowAmongstTheMasses Your pain will be legendary... EVEN IN HELL!
You have got to destroy that mattress... YOU HAVE GOT TO DESTROY THAT MATTRESS!!!
No tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering.
Yall outdone yourselves on this one. Thanks so much Michael, Jessica, Doug and the homeowners!
Perfect end to a long, fun and cold Halloween here in the UK, Doug is an absolute legend, the house is cool, the whole episode just keeps giving.
One of the most iconic humans ever ❤ for someone who played such a gruesome character, Doug has the kindest eyes and the most down to earth attitude. You guys are so lucky to have met a gem like him❤
That was a genius idea for that house. I hope this guy’s place succeeds. You can tell it was done with love.
This was fantastic, guys. I could listen to Mr. Bradley talk about anything forever. Thank you for this!
You guys are killing it. Imagine sitting on the porch of the buffalo bill house and shooting the breeze with Doug Bradley. Unreal.
OMG.. Imagine touring a location to-do with Doug's work. The BEST PinHead ever!!!
Very well done, very affectionate. The house is wonderful on its own merit. Doug Bradley is such a sweetheart. The gentleman hosting is knowledgeable and interesting. A great Halloween special!

What a charismatic gentleman Doug is. He spoke so well about Anthony Hopkins and his insider tips of working in film. Absolutely loved this episode.
This was a masterpiece! A milestone for your channel. As good and better than any of the primary productions created for cable channels with huge budgets and crews.

I watched it at 13 it was so gruesome I had to close my eyes at parts of it.
Ted Levine should have, at the very least, been nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award.
Doug Bradley, what an absolute legend, and so much nicer in real life (thank god!).
I loved this one. Love silence of the lambs. Loved that doug bradley was there with. But i was kind if hoping you would have him recite some of his famous pinhead lines. But i still love this halloween special.
So loved doug in hellraiser aint one unless he in it he just that iconic
Doug Bradley is so frightening in the Hellraiser movies but so delightful in person. This was great!

In my opinion having Doug Bradley in this video is an honor. Great work guys.

Thank God Gene Hackman turned down the role for Hannibal Lector. Gene would have done a marvelous job but Anthony Hopkins is the greatest. 😎
Honestly Doug Bradley could have done a great job as well
He’s mimicking a trans-Atlantic accent. Big in the 1940’s among elitist and intellectuals (posers).
I’m so excited to finally see this! I’ve been waiting for it since you first announced you got the invitation to the house. I absolutely love The Silence of The Lambs and Ted Levine as Buffalo Bill. You’re soo lucky to have got the chance to hang out with Doug Bradley! He is legendary!!
Amazed that you got Doug Bradley to appear in your video. Shows how awesome you guys are that you get the best people to participate with you!
Love it. Love Anthony Hopkins and silence of the lambs and the rest that followed.
This was a lot of fun. I've never heard Doug interviewed. I would have asked who is his favorite Dr. Who 😉.
To your point Michael about the location and the dog barking, the train, the bonfire ...what a perfectly benign setting that makes setting of the house more perfect for a serial killer blending in
Glad to have a chance to see, meet and enjoy this!!!
Doug should of said just before you all entered the house "we've got such sights to show you", that would of been so awesome, i think i would of had a horrorgasm for real haha
oh man he missed a great opportunity there! good one
I was waiting to see the arcade style games back there, lol. What a great thing Chris has done. I love the work you have put into these. Great Job and great interview as always.
That tunnel looks so familiar. I think it was used in the Jason Momoa movie called Sweet Girl
I think your right good eye
"Put on the kimono and get your tuck on," I'm dying lol
I love your channel, I love how charismatic the two are, I see you from Mexico City, I wish I could go to the places you go, but I settle for watching your incredible videos, success and happiness for both. Happy Halloween and Day of the Dead. Greetings.
Amazing video, loved the movie and especially pin head ty for taking us for this special Halloween treat🐈⬛🐾
Awesome video, with one of my horror icons to boot. Love you guys , have a spooktakula halloween 👻
I could listen to Doug b talk all day long. He knows so much interesting stuff!

What an amazing insight into acting. Ppl down horror movie actors, but clearly this guy is next level...explains why his character remains so iconic.

Ok , so we got Pin Head walking around Buffalo Bill's house. Don't see this every day.
I could listen to Doug tell stories all day. Very intelligent guy.
"The great thing about Halloween is, it doesn't matter" 1:18:29. "It's a holiday devoted to the imagination." Doug Bradley
This is the best you have done, but ALL your work is superb. Best wishes from Devon UK
Great seeing this video, the first Halloween special I've seen. The part I liked was when Chris said, "put on the Kimono and get your tuck on" hahaha.
