In the past, peacocks could be used as both ornamental and meat in China. Peacock eggs and peacock feathers also had commercial value.
After the covid-19,Many people think that wild animals may bring unknown viruses,So in 2020, the Chinese government issued a law to ban many wild animals and special animals for artificial breeding, including peacocks.
So now peacocks can only be used for viewing.
In the video, we eat chicken raised at home.
