  • The taxi driver who rushed a worried father to the grounds of the Route 91 Harvest Festival Sunday is speaking out. John Zerquera-Jimenez drove the worried father who got in his cab as they sped to the area of the concert shooting. The daughter, Ashley, her husband and several others crammed in the back of the cab, but the driver didn't mind. #InsideEdition

Who would take money in this situation really? Possibly call other drivers to get there and pick as many people as possible, the further away from the shooter the better. By the way did she called her father? To get him in danger too?

Poor dad looks so helpless while he sits there in the passenger seat. There is nothing more stressful than the calm before the storm (ie. The ride to your kids, the waiting in the hospital etc). I've been in a similar situation, having to rush to my child who is in danger and just feeling like I can't get there fast enough. I don't wish that on anyone. That driver was awesome. I love how they all tried to fit whoever they could in the car. Even though they had never met these people in their lives, they all just wanted to keep as many people safe as they possibly could.

It’s sad but great because if you watch shows about it, everyone was doing whatever they could. Anyone with any medical experience was helping, anyone driving was picking up everyone. It’s heartwarming.
