OF COURSE you can meet people from social media. It's better if you are willing to invest the time getting and staying noticed online. Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, UA-cam, Bumble, LinkedIn, Facebook are all good to meet people. Attract dates if you do not need your hand held or napkin placed. Be a man and lead. Go for what you want. Do it without being clumsy.
I do tend to get messages on Instagram from female followers, but my hunch is they're often scams or fake. Never thought to actually use it as a dating site. I mostly just post Golden Age of Hollywood movie star photos. That said, I've now added a bio and some pictures of myself on my page. Who knows?
