Excellent video! Your bike is absolutely gorgeous. I still think the 1800 is one of the nicest looking bikes ever made...and yours is detailed beautifully...

Glad you found the culprit of the rattling and got it fixed. That sucks your riding season is coming to an end 😢. I'll do enough riding for the both of us. And that rubber idea you gave me, worked like a charm.

Glad to hear that the rubber hose worked! How many months out of the year are you able to ride?

2 gaskets.. Are 2 required or did they just put a new one over the old??

2 gaskets are required, but just one for each cylinder, it appears they just reused the old ones. I would not put new gaskets over top the old ones, as it will typically leak. And you risk bending the exhaust flanges

have you ever burned your boot or pants leg on the exhaust that goes over the clutch cover?

I have not, the exhaust itself looks like its a larger diameter, but really its a heat shield that gives it that appearance. Pretty much all the chrome on this exhaust is heat shield. it gets hot but it never like actually has melted anything, I'm sure if you left something on it long enough it would, but in my experience I haven't.
