To anyone even remotely considering becoming a pilot for career or recreational purposes - I just finished my first solo cross country with about 25 hours in the sky, and Im not exaggerating when I say I've enjoyed every second. If money is a barrier, I am by no means a rich person. If you take the time to save up the money I can guarantee you you wont ever regret it. Flight is everything this video makes it out to be and so much more.

Private pilot here - unfortunately, I am taking a break from my flight training due to low funds. But, I'm praying to get back to Aviation within 3 or so years to continue my journey with some money saved. This video gives me so much hope!! Thank you!! ❤

I watch this video often for inspiration....it's been a difficult road for me throughout my flight training. Ran short on money over a year ago and had to stop but now I'm back! Aviation has been a part of my life for over 24 years and yet when I retired from the Air Force I almost stepped away. But now I'm back and I'm sticking around for good and it feels great!
Beautiful to the point of moving me to shed a tear. I'm in my mid-50s and with all my money going to pay for kids' university, the chance of me getting my license is slim. That said, I'm absolutely going to go for a discovery flight. I long to hear the words, "You have the controls" and to answer, "I have the controls."

After 23 years in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic I recently decided to change careers and become a pilot. I just solo'd recently and felt really great about my decision but lately I've been doubting my potential for success as a professional pilot due to my age of 43. I thought I wanted a career in the airlines and that's all most new pilots talk about, but after attending an ALPA meeting at my school and doing months of research I came to the sad conclusion that the life of an airline pilot was not for me and that's when I started doubting my decision to fly at all. When I saw this video....it reminded me why I fly and I can't give that up. I love flying and I'm still young enough for now to enjoy flying. So I'm going to keep flying and see how far I can go. Thanks for the cool video and inspiration.
Kelly, it's so great to hear you enjoyed the video and it gave you some inspiration. Keep on flying and run with it as far as you can go. It's not always fun, but the challenge is what keeps me going personally. Don't necessarily give up the dream of being a professional pilot - There are SO many careers besides airline pilot.

Having just started my journey down the aviation (currently only 3 hours into my training!! 😳) I have to say this video is a real inspiration.
I’ve been sat down, trying to get the Air Law studying to make sense and go into my brain today and have reached a saturation point. Watching this video has fired me up again to get myself to where I want to be - up there flying! ✌️

Simply Breathtaking :) I definitly agree with all statments that are in this movie. Pilots fly for the views, for others because they want to share their passion. But above all they fly because every flight is a challange. You wont have the same two flights even if you fly the same route with the same plane. There will be always change in wind, clouds ceeling and many other factors. That's what makes flying so unpredictable yet so great in my opinion :) I'm a glider pilot and now I'm right before my first solo Cross Country PPL flight. Can't wait for it :) Safe landings Swayne and keep on posting. Best regards from Poland :)

This is a great post, video. Thank you for posting. Lately I had thought of getting my pilot license. So, I did it. When on my first introduction flight to see if I would like it. It was exhilarating and wanted to go back up after my 30 mins of flight, what i had paid for. Don't know where this is going just so happen to be the other sectors of the transportation industry; railroad and trucking; driver. To get my license will only take 6 months; two times a week or more. And didn't seen like a lot to pay for it. So, I know i would take this new challenge in my life. again, thank you for posting. so encouraging.

Absolutely amazing, always wanted to do flying from when I started simulator flights. After looking at this, finally think its time to start looking into the schools in my area, don't think I've got much choice thou. Keep up the great videos, hope to see more in 2017.

This was amazing! It's been a hell of a year. I started my PPL training in April this year and earned my PPL early last month and it's been life changing; this video only exemplifies why we fly. Onto ATPLs next year for me, I wish you all the best of luck in the path you pursue! :)
