I’m not acting like he was one of the top best Presidents by any means. But he is such a good person. He said what he felt, he tried to do what was right. He’s not a bad person, unfortunately with the inflation and gas prices of 1979 and the Iran Hostage Crisis he just had bad luck. But he still felt like a real leader and someone who wasn’t abusing his power. I really like him despite some of the bad things he’s done during his presidency. Till this day he will still, he will go down in history as the president who made human rights central to his own foreign policy. Happy Birthday Jimmy Earl Carter. ✌️🦅

I feel like Carter was underrated in retrospect, particularly given the sorts of presidents that succeeded him. He was a dull president, but he meant well which puts him far and away above alot of the politicians today.

I am surprised that Carter never initiated a program to enable the blacks to improve their quality of life, economic independence or scholarly pursuit, but felt comfortable with their poor status. However, both Clinton or Obama had any program for the purpose.
I think the congress should initiate such a program to compensate their service to American opulence.
