I always thought of President Cater as The Mister Rogers of Politics....This man never seemed to get too riled up over the political scene and after he left office he still remained a Country Gentleman! Cheers Everyone

His wife of 72 years, that is amazing!
George & Barbara Bush had been married 73 years by the time Barbara died in April 2018. Jimmy & Rosalynn are approaching 73 years of marriage as well (July 2019).

While they seem to argue against each other on politics and philosophy, they will soon come to perfect agreement and unity, and lead people to the Antichrist. Eradication of guinea worm disease was a huge accomplishment.
I was 15 in '74 and I saw the evil of Richard Nixon. Gerald Ford issued a statement that was read at his funeral that he had in-fact agreed to Nixon's demand that when he was offered the vice presidency, he had to agree to pardon Nixon if it came down to it. Ford infamously lied about this over-and-over again. Jimmy Carter was elected in '76 over Ford because he was perceived as being honest and he was. In '74 when the Georgia Governor announced that he was running for president, he swore, "I will never lie to the American people" and he never did.
Nixon resigning in '74 is part of GOD=7_4 theory which is Seal #2 of the 7seals.blogspot.com . Only the returned Christ & Albert Einstein reincarnated could produce this. It's triggered The Apocalypse/Revelation with COVID-19 being added to Seal #4: S=19 (18.6) theory.
Jimmy talked peace while millions died in wars and went hungry ! You can't make peace with some bad people by talking and hoping . You have to be strong enough to take away their ability to harm others !

He wasn't someone who would play the games of Washington. He tried to do what he thought was right, not supporting military dictators that previous (and some later) administrations to create a more compassionate world
@@jshepard152 boi... he has worked to eradicate Guinea worm, millions of cases a year when he started, now there is under 50 cases a year, he has worked to eradicate other diseases, he has worked to spread democracy and done a right fine job, he builds homes for the poor, he works to spread peace, as president he got peace between egypt, he made programs such as WIC and FEMA and many more, he improved women's rights, he made the world more peaceful, he also enforced human rights and improved them in many nations, tell me sir, have you done even half of that? Until then don't go bad mouthing him and his work.
Love how Pres Carter is a golden gem and lives a simple life despite having huge amount of money.
A decent human being, a caring man, and ABSOLUTELY a better president than king baby is or ever will be.
He was a politician, you don't get to the Whitehouse unless you are one. But under the politician was a real person and he has real faith and didn't use it like a political tool. And after he continued to be who he was all his life and use his celerity for good. All this is what got him elected, it's good he and his wife lived a good long life maybe one of the best human beans to be President.

For my 16th Birthday, my parents took me to his Sunday school class, it was such an amazing experience and something I'll never forget!

I've always thought little of President Carter. Thanks to youtube though I've found I was so wrong. He accomplished a lot in four years of office, never once attacked any country, and did a lot of humanitarian work after office. He's become one of my favorites and I generally lean right.

I absolutely love Jimmy Carter. I hope America continues to deliver great presidents with brains, integrity, faith & compassion & even more.
Also, for all the people ragging on Jimmy Carter's time in office, I believe his empathy and promotion of human rights, do enormous work to promote a positive image of America abroad. His actions will be looked at by many millions of people in the future, and those kind actions will add credence to the idea that America does stand for Freedom, equality, Christian values, and so on. This soft power is enormously useful, because it helps to build trust, which is very lacking these days.
I love all that the Carters have done and are doing. They are living their faith and their light shines… they are a Lighthouse.
This man has one of the most beautiful smiles ever. Thank you for your humanity, Mr Carter.

I don't agree that religion is the problem. I believe the problem is those who hide behind religion. My religious faith inspires and encourages me to love others, to serve others, and to not judge. Some of course use it to judge, discriminate, hate, etc. But it all depends on the intentions of the person I think. Religion of course inspired President Carter.

I've always felt that Jimmy Carter is underrated. Maybe with his environmental policies he was thirty or forty years ahead of his time, but I think there's something noble about the man. Refusing to play games with politicians, even within his own party. Was honest with developments as he said he would and made a conscious decision not to use the military to rescue the hostages that were held in Iran. He felt that bombing Tehran would put the hostages in danger, face reprisals for any attack by the US
