The last years where you could see Rio Grande diesels still in action and some unsullied by those foreign looking (at the time) ditch lights. And GP30's still earning their keep 30+ years after being built!
I absolutely love your videos, Walt! I did alot of watching back then, and no filming. These really bring it back for me. It was great to see 3006 in action again. It was my favorite at the time. Got to see it many times serving Crissey Fowler Lumber, also up on Fillmore to the recycle place, and out to Academy blvd. Great shots! Did you notice the Rio Grande hat at 10:41 ?
The captions in this are massively excessive and completely block the view of the trains. That sort of detail should be in the video description, not overlayed on the video -- anyone who wants to read it has to pause the video anyway.
I had no idea rio grand geep 30s had M3 horns! Amazing video!
Thank you.
Great footage, cheers!
Thank you 😊
Great stuff! Keep posting if you find more mid 90's SP/DRGW stuff please!
More to come!
Love this video!!!! So many Tunnel Motors!!! 💕💕
Another Great Video Walt! Definitely Classic locomotives in this video. That Rio Grande GP30 is awesome along with the other locomotives!
Yeah, I knew I needed to get shots of no. 3006 when I had the chance.
Good Work With The Video.
Thank you 😊

No, I missed the hat. Good catch!
