The SP AC's my absolute favorite
A good and sturdy locomotive to be sure.
Beautiful. One thing I never get to experience in central Texas is the whine of dynamics. I wonder if I'll ever get to experience it in person.
Happy I could help 😊
I remember when I was young camping at Donner Lake hearing the the dynamics all the time loved it!
Love this older footage 👍
I'm glad you're enjoying it 😊
Wonderful video and some beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing. Dave
Those were great days railfanning, for sure.
I used to love watching the trains while fishing the Arkansas. Two of my favorite pastimes. Sure miss the trains there. Great video and memories.!!
Thank you.☺️
At 13:30, is it still weird that 5 AC4400CW to pull/push 36 wagons, or have you cut some pieces and you can't see anything ? Apart from this detail, beautiful landscapes... greeting from Switzerland
You're correct. It's an illusion. Watch carefully and I bet you can find the splicing in the video.
This was awesome!
I'm so glad you're pleased 😊
Southern Pacific /Cotton Belt lives on my layout, Willamette Regional Railway, where Southern Pacific bought out UP, the way it should of been.
Perfect agree gotta see them on Donner my self
I want to see complete length of each train.
I'll make a note. Thanks for letting me know.
Awesome video! I think those ns trains ran west with coke to Geneva and back east loaded with coal
Oh, I didn't know that the empties weren't empty. Thanks for letting us know.
Did that train service any mines? Has ore cars.. or was it just coal now
I don't rightly know.
This country can only be seen by train. We do not get this action down in the Piney Woods of SouthEast, Texas.
Indeed!
