There’s always a bigger fish. My goodness - that’s impressive. No longer Broke 4 bricks lol! Best reason to sell your collection - spending more time with family. They’ve always been super cool people and I appreciate the non production parts and things we’ve got from them.
Yet another really great video 👍 bryan seems so kind. if i ever sell my crazy collection… i can only see myself doing it for that exact same reason (spending more time with my kids) but for the moment lego = great moments with my kids. If they ever do not like it anymore it will be a problem.
@@brixideas8456 Hopefully your kids will always share your love of LEGO, even if the get out of it for a little while, most people drift back later in life!
Just starting my collection, 780 pieces in 6 sets. I was a big lego fan as a kid, but college and career got in the way, so starting fresh. Going with City and Classic bulk sets for now.
This is the first video of this channel I watched and I've watched it 3 times! Have my sub. Great conversation with Bryan, what a guy. But all good things come to an end, and I hope he's happy doing things with his kids. Real nice guy I like that guy.
This video make every lego fan want to come to your shop. I think people would even pay you just to come and help you move all the stuff. Why do I live 4600 miles away from Atlanta ?
My 7 year old watching the video in complete disbelief before saying, “why…why wouldn’t you build the sets?” He’s torn between thinking that collection is super cool or that it’s sacrilegious to own all those sets and not build them. 😂
When Disney renamed Slave I, I immediately knew the 4 mint unopened UCS kits I have went up in price 😄 what an awesome collection! The amount of time and travel to stores is ridiculous but Im very much like him. My collection is all Unopened mint SWs kits. I will end up selling all of mine eventually as well. Thanks for sharing such an awesome collection.
That is CRAZY. Were there any technics? I've been wanting some of the older technic sets. Its going to take forever to get through all of that, but at least it was well sorted and taken care of.
It is going to take a while to get through! I’m not sure if there were any Technic in there. We will be driving down soon to get the rest of it. Look for a future vid.
That collection is seriously next level, the stuff of dreams! Never thought I’d see such a $BIG$ deal made on a collection! One day I gotta make it to yalls store from Texas!
I hate to ask but I’m disabled and really want the home alone set and a flower set but can’t afford store prices. I would appreciate if you would keep an eye out
This is insane! 🤩One thing I'm curious about is how much Bryan spent to acquire this collection vs the $100,000 selling price. Folks often say LEGO is a pretty decent investment, and this would be a good example of that.
Same Here. All film i got in my mind - What was the point If This collection? He Put easy 100k in all This stuff and storage, so he just freeze the money. What a waste. But pretty sweet deal for buyer
So I’d imagine he settled for a bulk selling price somewhere less than 25% of the actual value. Had he taken the time he could have made thousands more.
The store usually offers cash at 50% of the sets brinklink value and 100% for store credit/trade in. That’s what I received when I traded/sold a bunch of my sets.
@@Gazelle0078 He may have gotten a better deal, I only had about $4,000 in sets. Think about the time and expense of selling 4000 sets plus all the other items on your own. It would take a long time and your money is tied up in LEGO. If you don’t need the money currently the sets will only appreciate in value over time. It just depends on the individual’s circumstances as to what they decide/need to do. 😁 ✌🏻
@@atlbrickco That’s great for both parties, buyer and seller. Like I said, selling that much takes a lot of time and money for the seller and can be overwhelming. Your store needs to make a profit to pay all your business expenses, especially labor, I understand. Atlanta Brick Co is great for LEGO fans to be able to buy, sell and trade LEGO very easily. I enjoyed my trade/sale when I visited last year and hope to be back. You have a lot of great LEGO and it’s a great store. ✌🏻
You have to factor in your time, stress, and frustration of selling each one of those items individually, plus eBay’s cut of the sale! He wanted to hard quit the whole thing.
Can’t help but feel the guy got ripped off. 100k for all that, man that’s not even retail for the 4000 sets let alone what they are worth now and what Atlanta Brick Co. will sell them for.
Please keep in mind that it was OVER 100k, over a thousand sets were cmf and polybags and both parties walked away happy with the deal. Also, remember he was losing money every month on rental for 3 temperature controlled storage units!

Sheeeshhhhh! I’d wish I’d had gotten into Lego a lonnggggg time ago. Great haul. Better it hurt to let go!
i wish i could run into a collection like this to buy, i mean i couldn't afford it but a man can dream.

Wow. What a cool guy too, using these LEGO parts for public outreach.
VERY COOL!
Insane haul!

Love everything about this.
Thank you, sir!
I saw this on Facebook. The owner or previous owner I should say made a post about this on one of the groups and I had to watch it.
Wow just wow! I actually think the displays are really cool. I would love to have one with the arctic lego city sets.
Yes, totally agree!
Man i thought i had a Lego hoarding problem. Makes me look well adjusted. lol
Haha! Absolutely!
Awesome haul !
Thanks!
If there is a Millennium Falcon 7965 in there, I WANT IT. I hope there might be one in the open sets collection. 🤞
Well look for you!
LOTR sets got me happy
Us too!
Any Chima Ice Bears or bulk translucent clear 1x2 plates in bulk?
Hmmm. I don’t know off the top of my head. Contact the store to find out for sure!

Chris! Dude how much for one of the dump bins?

If a store were to buy this collection, they'd be set on inventory for years I'd imagine. At least like 5 years, right?
Maybe?

Wow! and I thought I had a lot of LEGO
No one has more than us!
To watch someone sell their collection fills me with great sadness
Don’t be sad. We are now selling that collection to you (or whoever wants it)!
Current retail is probably pushing $300k
yep, what's easier, spending full time on an ebay store for months or selling in one transaction... guess it depends on the circumstances
Wow, you got quite the bargain. 😁
4000 sets x $25 = $100,000
Plus all the bulk brick, minifigs, shelves, etc.
There were over a thousand polybags and cmf figures included in that set count. Still considered sets but wouldn’t want to pay $25 for them!
This is insane! 🤩One thing I'm curious about is how much Bryan spent to acquire this collection vs the $100,000 selling price. Folks often say LEGO is a pretty decent investment, and this would be a good example of that.

No, had to finance it. Worth it!
I'll never understand why people keep them in the boxes, they should be opened and enjoyed. Who cares if they lose value.
