I had no idea that the UCS Imperial Shuttle has gone up in value so much. I remember seeing it in displays at the Lego store and wanting to pick it up but just ultimately decided to go with clone wars sets instead
It would be cool to see more examples of sets that aren't necessarily the most expensive but that just had limited releases so most people might not know that they exist (similar to the Avatar ones)
Why do people buy sealed boxes? Do they collect boxes? I wouldn't pay the premium if I just wanted the set. I used copy would be just fine. I have 6277 with the box. I still have all the boxes from my 80s and 90s sets. Didn't even know it went for that kind of money. I've kept them all in the garage.
Many people ONLY buy sealed sets because they want the set to be “new.” They like the idea that the set is exactly as it was when it rolled out of the factory. To each their own, I say! That’s why the ABC offers both!
I pretty much only buy new, with a few exceptions, because I like the stickers to be new and to properly place them as well as have new, non-yellowed pieces and ensure the set is complete. If it's a reputable seller I may buy a 100% complete used set with good piece quality and then get an unused sticker sheet on Bricklink. But I actually throw away almost all of my boxes because I never plan to sell.
I did buy a certified preownd set and it was missing one piece but you guys sent the piece out as well as a poly bag and a gift card so thanks guys
Great episode my dudes! This is what I love is talking about the $$$ stuff and behind the scenes bidness stuffs.

We have all had to make those hard decisions. My greatest regret is selling my original black seas barracuda. Tragic.
I never knew that I needed this knowledge...but I'm better for it.
Like the video. Keep up the good work.
definitely do a minifig video.
We definitely will!
DO MORE OF THESE :D
Okay!

Great suggestion! Thanks!
Very cool video!
If you have the box for lego classic, will you find the pieces and sell the set?
The millennium falcon from 2000 looks iffy

Guys the info is great but the editing is just too jarring, don’t need all those cuts.
