Can I know the temperature of this card? I own and Radeon 5700 XT sometime is more than 90 degree?
reapply thermal paste however it will void your warranty
Il still waiting about a SE variant of it could looking awesome with the rgb fans from past gen SE variants

what about the hardware problem with the junction hot spot temp?
That problem is only present in the reference cooler.
Sapphire have been in my rigs since my Hd 3850 AGP, currently running my P4(3.2) XP rig still
what type of pc ram is that?
can you change the RGB to just be red or green?
yes
this is one of the most gorgeous cards we have right now imho, I've been finding really hard to enjoy the design of most cards right now, be it AMD's 7XXX or NVIDIA's 4XXX
does it come with an extra 8 pin connector in it? or should we order one?
No extra connector or argb cable
This or 4090 strix? For 300$ CAD more?
Only 300 more definitely 4090 strix but in my country 4090 is double price then 7900xtx.
I have a ryzen 7 5800x3d CPU it won't slow it down? :)
Depends on your resolution target. 4K: no, 1440p: maybe (depends on graphics settings and CPU demand by game)
just ordered mine today , pulling out my rtx 3080 ti ,
have also ordered asus tuf 1000w atx3 power supply ,
dont think my seasonic 750 w might not be up too it
and it has run flawless for more than 15 years .....
card should fit no problem as have full tower ,
be quite dark base 900 .............
main reason for the change ids my 3080 ti is a
zotac trinity oc and when gaming it is too noisy
for my liking ...
my only other option was the 4080 asus with the noctura
fans which gets good reviews but £1500 ,
its getting too steep ...
my dark base is so quite , and its an inverted case which
i like as you can always see the fans through the window ,
i wanted a pc which was on the left side of my desk which
i could look in throught the window so had to build inverted
as only option ...
i use the noctura cpu air cooler which is silent ...
Goodluck with it I returned mines today the software for this thing is trash couldn’t even change the RGB Strip color to the color i wanted or turn off the RGB at all its great for gaming tho and performance
Are you using a support bracket? How is your gpu straight? I had to use one because dumb ass microcenter didn't do a good job and my gpu was sagging. I was pissed. Never have microcenter build your PC.
need 850w PSU or 1000w?
850 is enough
hey, how are you?
can you help me?
I have an RX 7900XTX Nitro Plus.
she is incredibly beautiful.
or almost incredible
I say this because
my computer after a while restarts by itself.
I have already reduced the power of the GPU. I already removed the xmp from the memories. but for some reason
my computer restarts.
my configuration is:
b550 auros elite
5800x3d
2x16 (3200-360MHz)
rx7900xtx nitro plus
850w source
a detail.
before restarting the computer. the monitor is left without video. then restarts in a few seconds.
Another detail is that all of the computer's LEDs (RGB) remain accessible.
gpu rgb, memory and water cooler....
I already updated the drivers.
I've already used old drivers but nothing changes.
Do you think it could be a source?
hug!!!

Can you turn off RGB?
software - Sapphire TRIXX
What a monster be it size, power and cooling.
What is a good case for this gpu?
None
I just put mine it. Runs cooler than my 6800 nitro+. 13700k, 64gb ram, 4tb WD_BLACK, nzxt pa 850w
Such a pain with these 3 PCI-E connections on new GPUs. You have to hunt down a new single 8-pin PCI-E cable for your PSU manufacturer because huh huh, they only give you 1 daisy-chained PCI-E typically in the PSU box. Or you have to change your PSU entirely. Just bought this as the prices are too good right now to replace my 3080, and I panicked realizing it requires 3 connections instead of the usual 2.
OR you use an RTX with 12vhpwr and run the risk of setting your PC on fire
I have the i5-13600k and I am planning to get this card. My PSU is 750w and on the calculator of my pc I get watt usage of 600-650.
Should I upgrade my PSU as well?
Its ok 750 is ok dont upgrade
shame its 30% over msrp here £1300 there are 4090's for £1650 (prices from overclockers) i mean ignoring all the other stuff in a few weeks the power useage difference would make the 4090 cheaper !
thos cards pretty damn sick but im not upgrading performance isnt enough of a diffrence from my 6950xt nitro plus to fork out another grand ill wait for next generation see if its good and buy a price dropped 7900xtx if it isnt
its just a paddle pop bar...abit polarizing
I'm considering this card, but after recently helping a friend build a new PC focused around low power consumption, this feels like the GPU equivalent of rolling coal.
Score false time spy extrême, the XFX 7900 XTX score:14600 stock and 17200 Overclock for me
CPU makes a difference dude :)
@@OC3D my cpu is 9900kf ..... 😏and you?
My first one died in 3 hours. Second one has serious coil whine.
How would a card die in 3 hours.. explain
Not enough X's , I want more!!
Holy...that thing is not much smaller than some sff cases...
Gonna make it a white one Guv? It certainly would look the dogs danglies if you did!
How did you know 😊
@@OC3D I'm psychic hahahaha 😂
2:14 i feel a little bit of sarcasm right there and i feel offended. Please apologize.... 😅
Am a proud owner of a 5700XT nitro+, but i don't like that big-ass lightbar in the new model... to much light-bar to my taste.
Excellent ding
very attractive card. The price just doesn't make sense. its too close to the 4090
Not right now.
€1100 for the 7900 XTX vs. €2000 and more for the 4090.
Once i can find one in stock ima stuffing into a fractal meshify 2 with a 360 front mount aio and hope it doesnt suffocate 😂😂
The card is 320 mm long. Your Meshify 2 will house it easily.
@cosmichi-fi3308 it houses a 320mm card but not with a aio up front i got it to work by switching to 15mm slim fans. Stays decently cool mid 60s in most games and about 70 degrees in heavy ray traced games. Not optimal but it works lol
I got one too!
The question is does it explode like the the other ones??
Not yet... But then, it was the AMD reference builds that had a batch of faulty vapour chambers.
No 7xxx series cards are "exploding", stop with that bullshit.
The vapor chamber issue on ref cards is a thing for a number of affected cards on a bad batch, it has got nothing to do with this sapphire card in the review.
@@the_rat_run What's the hotspot temp on your card when you're letting it use full power?
@@jjlw2378 around 80c. I'll set GPU-Z to log maximum sensor readings and confirm later.
The only fire hazard are the one on nvidia dude lol
This card is great for gaming and performance the software is trash tho I couldn’t even turn off the RGB on it or change the RGB to the color I Wanted Smh 🤦🏾♂️ I returned mines today
Sapphire and Powercolor never disappoint me
Are they better than asus and gigabyte models ? I was mostly using asus models from nvidia cards. Dont have a clue what xtx card should I get under my budget..
@@propensitygaming I don't know, but generation to generation Sapphire And Powercolor aways delivers, in Thermals, build quality, etc, maybe because they are focused only in AMD boards.
But in the end all brands produces good Boards, you decide.
@@propensitygaming AIBs that do both Nvidia and AMD have always been disappointing on the AMD side because they never focus on designing it exclusively to work best on AMD. They usually just reuse coolers they designed for Nvidia cards and that brings a lot of problems.
If you're still looking I recommend looking at GPU monkeys gpu comparison and compare them all@@propensitygaming
Overclockers are excellent suppliers
Wtf how is XFX 10° cooler
The Sapphire has a different fan curve / temp target.
Something is wrong I have 79-80fps result in cyberpunk benchmark at 4k. I'm not a good overclocker at all. These tests don't show me how awesome this model is. It's all metal. Literally the Apple product among GPUs 😉
This card currently costs ~1,450-1,500 euros. Yikes!
