May the Lord richly bless you as you seriously study the Book of Mormon!
I have always felt the Lord's strength when he invites us to do hard things that we feel are impossible. Thank you for sharing these wonderful insights.
Michael! I'm so grateful for your awesome example of saying "Here am I, send me!!!"
I recall sharing my delights with Heavenly Father before I was born. They multiplied as we watched them.
Thanks again bro Hilton!
So glad you're in this class!
Thank you, John. I always go to your scripture page and your emails. Very appreciative of all you do to help us understand the scriptures. God bless you and your beautiful family❤️🦋
You are very welcome
Thank you for your clear explanations & the many details that you shared to help me understand Isaiah better! Your efforts bless my life & I am grateful! May God bless you & your family for all of the good that you are doing! 😇💝
You're so welcome! Thank you for your kind words.
Love all your teachings about individual voices in the BoM. I’ve read as many articles you’ve written that I could find and watched as many videos you’ve done that I can find. Getting your book soon.
Question came to me recently. Idk if you’ve looked into it, but you talk about Christ’s references to baptism being so high and being consistent in 3 Nephi and every other area in the BoM. His consistent speaking patterns are incredible!
This sparked my question. Have you researched the Old and New Testaments to see if Jesus has any consistent speaking patterns between the Bible and BoM?
This is a great question and it's not one I have fully explored yet. There are definitely differences between how Christ speaks about baptism between the Bible and the Book of Mormon (see journal.interpreterfoundation.org/the-word-baptize-in-the-book-of-mormon/)
@@johnhiltoniii Thanks Bro Hilton! I'll check this out! I also downloaded your software it has been fun to explore voices in the BoM!
I'm so grateful you mentioned your Master Class when you were on Follow Him a couple of weeks ago! You are doing such a fantastic service and I'm grateful!
I'm so glad you heard about this Master Class...please help spread the word!
This podcast on Isaiah was very helpful. I always like hearing about the historical background and geography. I am a visual learner.
The Isaiah Map has really helped me also! Thanks for your kind words.
The Lord loves your effort and all the extra goodies you offer us. Thank you. I know I am well
Eased with you.
Thanks for your kind words Peggy!
I certainly needed to hear this power witness shared in your closing example of your time in Florida as you worked to move back to Utah. Thank you for the entire podcast but especially your own personal example, Dr Hilton!
Thank you for your kind words...I'm grateful that we can fully put our trust in God!
Thank you for sharing your personal experience near the end of the podcast. It was very insightful.
Thank you! It was tender for me, and I'm glad you found it helpful.
Thank you very much. ❤
You're welcome 😊
I'm so like you in reading 📚 ❤️
Enjoy reading and writing.
Once had large collection of many types of books 📚 3,00thousand books and soo many had been left behind because they just went needed for our good.
Some have been replaced with others in my daughter's place with her children and her choices.
I've given some.
Some one has figured more Isaiah book 📖 than any other is in The Book Of Mormon.
I love the fact I left almost everything behind more than once in my life.
For I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ more and know that Holy Ghost will come to me with guidance ❤📖🙏 24:59
Brother Hilton, what Living Translation of the Bible do you recommend - I see many different versions.
This was the New Living Translation
@@johnhiltoniii are all NLT's the same, regardless of publisher?
I am Interested in the book of Isaiah. Is there a specific author OR is this just and example?
I'm not sure what you mean!
Was Mary a "young woman"? If Heavenly Father was the Father of the Son and Mary was His mother, was Mary in reality a virgin?
It's clear from scripture that Mary was a virgin. You can see more details about Isaiah's prophecy, "A virgin shall conceive and bear a son" in this article: rsc.byu.edu/prophets-prophecies-old-testament/king-ahazs-sign-christ-jesus
Heavenly Father can do whatever he says he will do. He had Christ create human bodies. Why wouldn't he be able to cause a woman to become pregnant?
Even humans can take sperm and egg, and emplant the resulting embryo so it can grow into a baby. This doesn't require sexual relations.
