I haven't timed it so I don't have an accurate number for you. At the speed it pulls it shouldn't take more than 3 to 5 minutes maybe less. keep in mind that you don't have to reposition a suction cup so the tool moves around quite efficiently.
In this video we are using Equalizer Squire steel wire. The reason is when fiberline comes in contact with a sharp edge, it will easily snap. When removing glass that is just cracked, we use Swift. Fiberline.
Don't be sorry, do you. After 35 years in the trenches I have chronic tendonitis and shoulder issues that motivated me to come up with another alternative to pulling cold knives. This would should make cutting out the windshield of a wrangler or bronco easier, since there isnt any trim around them.

Does this use a thicker wire than a traditional cut out system?
This tool will pull any fiberline or wire. Even braided wire.
How long would it have taken you to cut it out without doing the demonstration? Just trying to get an idea if it adds a lot of time to the job.

It would be up to the user. You can if there's enough clearance.
So the blade cuts the bead as well as the steel line?
No. It serves as an anchor for the tool. Much like a cleat that bites into the bead to stabilize the tool

Sorry, cold knife and extractor still the best way for us. That's just another more complicated wire cutter.
