I love the detail. Most other instructors would just say"pull the club down" Which you can do in many different ways.

Eric this helped me dramatically I’ve been going though a total swing change because I lost over 100lbs and I lost my center of gravity I’ve been working with a swing coach I knew for over 25 years my main problem is I have stubby forearms and thick hands and I’m only 5-9 so I tend to use my hands and arms because they are so dominant so my coach has been working very hard with me to loosen my arms and hands and I admit I’m very stubborn 😂😂😂 but anyway I’ve watching your videos for years and the Hogan right and left arm videos helped me more than any others video on UA-cam it made everything click in my swing between my swing coach reconstruct me for over a year and these two videos I got lucky on the timing that I found it because if I found it sooner it probably wouldn’t have worked as well as it did today so thank you so much for you time putting up these videos and if I’m ever in Florida after these crazy times we are in I’d like to get a single lesson from you and I like to buy you a drink for all the help
    thank you and God bless

Eric, I might be wrong but watched another video from a gentleman that claims to have learned from hogan. And it’s even simpler than all this. He called it laying the club off, modern day shallowing. He’s hinged and cupped at the top and all he does is bow the left wrist, and stays connected. I think all the good golfers start to bow, or if they don’t time it may just get bowed and hold it. I used to think of it as getting the hands back but now I know it’s bowing more. Your arms really have no choice but to move that way

Hi Eric like Hogan did. For my backswing I pulled my club back with my trail trigger finger as if I am drawing back a bow and arrow. I also use a softer leading arm for my backswing in order to start my downswing using what I call: My Magic Lead Elbow ( not trail elbow) to pull my body around to my left lead side as I simultaneously throw my club head down and through my ball with my Magic Trial Trigger Finger. My lower body responds automatically. Cheers

Great piece of info. I would love to see you do a who stack and tilt series.

      Thanks, Wade! We will see!
Everyone uses pieces of stack and tilt who plays decent :) Maybe to varying degrees!

Thank you Love your videos Hope to have a live lesson with you in near future If I understand correctly as I approach impact there is no external left forearm rotation. The bowing of lead wrist squares one up? Again your work is the best and much appreciated

      Hey!
      Appreciate it!
Technically there are 3 movements of the wrist/forearm
      1. Lead arm supination (rotation)
      2. Lead wrist ulnar deviation (un hinge)
      3. Lead wrist slightly flex or flat but moving toward extension
The SHOULDER (internal/external) is where the elbow points part.
Here is more info on this....it depends on several factors including grip:

For me the best information was in the transition part - arms moving and mass centering same time.

Lovely video as always, I try to emulate the transition or downswing bits but I really struggle with an open club face. Any video of yours that I can use to put it all together?

Yep...chasing that still position in downswing will lead you down the wrong path. Watch his videos with Malaska. I think those are better for the average golfer.
