I lucked out and grabbed the Batman '89 + Batwing combo from Walmart for $26 CAD. I don't even mind the hole in the back of the fig. (mostly out of sight). I never even saw The Flash toys in-store, and Spin Master's HQ is only 30mins from my neighbourhood.
I pre-ordered the 1989 batwing on sep 20 on the promise that the stock would be releaesd in sep 23, turned out it didn't and had to wait over 2 weeks and finally getting an arrival/shipping date. Hope they don't postponed it again. Very hard to get man, but at least it was cheap and not scalper price you'll have to pay.
Agree on the cape stopping this from being one of the best. I get that their kids line has em---but who really would collect this? Kids or the kids from 1989?
I finally got the 1989/1992 batwing from Am*zon. Arrived in terrible packaging but item inside is ok. No major complaints considering how little i paid for it.

I finally spotted this in the local Toys R Us store but I am more interested in the new batwing and unfortunately it's sold out even in the USA.
...I'm wondering if there is a decent aftermarket 4" cape being sold on ebay, that could possibly make figure awsome.
I made a little cape for my keaton and it look 100% better.
