For a moment there, this Prime cab didn't even have interiors as they used a dark-tinted windscreen. But you really got curious and well done getting a 2nd copy.
Looks like the matrix can double as a cup holder in that position lol. It'd be cool if the removable fists of the original figure were hidden inside too, that's usually were people stored them!
This reminds me of the easter egg on the original MP-01 Masterpiece Optimus Prime. Behind his facemask is a speaker for his mouth as it was depicted in the Marvel Comics run of the Transformers comics. Of course this was not an advertised feature. You had to break the faceplate to see the speaker.
My guess is that it was originally designed to have clear windows like the G1 Optimus toy but then some Exec later decided it would sell more if it looked "cooler" with tinted windows.
To pop open your riveted Hot Wheels, use a very small drill bit. Like a 16th or 3/32nd imperial or a size 2 metric. Very carefully and patiently and with light pressure, drill in the very center of the rivet a little bit at a time. It doesn't take much and you'll be able to pop your chassis off of your undercarriage. If you're not careful on thinner parts (like the bed of a pickup), you'll end up drilling a hole through the whole thing. Essentially, what you're doing is creating a small donut hole where the outer ring will lose enough integrity to easily collapse and be pulled through the hole. The chassis will then be able to fit back on the frame if desired, and be interchangeable with others that you alter. When I was a kid. I started doing this because I wanted to put different chassis on the monster truck frames. For example, my first experiment was I converted a Porsche to a monster truck frame and in turn, converted the classic Bigfoot to a dragster. Oh, that hole accidentally drilled in the back of a pickup? It was Bigfoot. So I stuck A laser blaster from one of my sci-fi toys in the hole and turned it backwards like a booster rocket. Oh yeah!
There'll probably be repaints in the future in different colours or window designs. Probably designed so that in the future, translucent windows can show it. Either way, having that Matrix is super cool and clearly done by a fan.
@RetroToyEscapades 😂...yeah if you compare the one with the trailer the cab is only 2/3 the size of the mainline version. That is why Mattel only charges $6 retail for them. It was super small. 😂...
Rivets are not like screws or bolts. It's like if you just put a peg in the hole and then squish it until it's too deformed to come back out. This means they are "permanent". But someone can always put new rivets in. I've just never done plastic rivets. Probably have to basically melt them in place. Interesting find! Nice vid
@@Anth230 the upcoming of these casting, it's explained in this video actually. :) fyi: Mattel will distributed these casting by this Februari 2025 Case F 2025.stay tune and happy hunting
Nice find! The placement doesn’t appear to be random either though. When Optimus transforms, this general area would become his chest, which, yup, is where the Matrix is stored. It appears Mattel placed the Matrix in a “robot appropriate” location haha. No way that’s a coincidence if they went to the trouble of sculpting that detail inside.
Some of my toy cars didn't survive childhood, and I remember some of them having sculpted interiors that you'd normally never be able to see. It may have been a safety factor, in case they ultimately wanted to used that mold with translucent windows?
Though good for them that they thought of this, but it is kinda stupid that they encased it beneath the interior of the hotwheel! They could go by showing it sculpted like their heads bellow the toy with silver paint, the ones we know it we would spot it! They could also make it gold painted to be able to see it a little better! From the moment it doesn't show from the outside or have some way to open its going somewhat to a waste!
Have you tried just shining a light through the windows. That shoukd allow you to see through them. They're tinted not opaque, it's still translucent so you can see threw it if you shine a light through the windows.
I can save you all from wondering, there is nothing inside of bumble bee. Unless you count having seats and sreering wheel as some sort of Easter egg. Lol

It could also be that they simply weren't certain whether the windows would be tinted, or that they'd be so heavily tinted.
I love the idea that when Prime is in truck mode the matrix is just rolling around on the floor
🤣

I can already see the Nemesis Prime and Ultra Magnus recolors
Wooow I never imagined that 😮
Amazing
🎉
Oh wow that's a great discovery lol
💥
You know, this makes me question where the Matrix ACTUALLY goes when in truck mode.
🤔
Overhead glove box.
Funny how everyone jumped on the other one with the trailer only to find out it was not at 1/64 once this one was released.... 😂

Friggin awesome that Arnold Schwartzenegger is a hot wheels fan...

Poor Matrix rolling around on the floor board as Prime drives around
😬
I need to find this one ❤💯👍
Awesome 🔥🍀
🙌
It's even better if you find the one on the fleet track that actually has the trailer
😬
Can not WAIT!

Wait for what? 🤔...

man this goes hard
👊
Perhaps it is for a future special variant with a transparent cab...
👍
I saw the rear lifting up as you showed it in the first part and now it makes sense!

Pretty obvious. Scalpers will get all of them before anyone gets to touch it. It's been done with popular toys, Pokémon, and sports cards
💥
awesome interior and easter egg details. Is this new OP mainline, similar casting as that in the earlier released Track Fleet with trailer on it?
👍

if only it transformed. motormaster and the stunticons should be next by hot wheels/hasbro
OP has a Trailer in USA
HW is gonna do Ultra Magnus soon
they called RIVITS!
👆
also, did i hear it right, you are Malaysia based? if yes, that is awesome, as I am also located here. Hope to have a chance to meet you here soon.
👊
I doubt Bumblebee has a surprise, but it's a $1 toy so I say bust him apart!!
🎉
Wish my town or amazon would stock the track fleet one

Maybe they intended to have clear windows, then they changed it.

My poloriod bluetooth kinda looks like that guy.. mixed media
What case is he in?
F case.
I'll never know because I can't get my hands on one.
👊
I've yet to find any of these!
🙏
First we got non transforming figure, now we got non transforming vehicle.
😮
Can the box container of Optimus Prime Track Fleet fit in this version?
Probably not, I think this one was made to be mainline only, but love to see the comparison tbh
@@kopiadem8052 no. Plus This one is actually scaled at 1/6 the Track fleet is not 1/64. The Box would look way too small with this larger version.
And why is the blue part made out of plastic and not die-cast? :/
🤔
Un-Riveting
