Don't forget to subscribe to Carbon Scoring for the best in Action Figures and Comics History.
Marvel Legends are the gold standard of action figure super hero figures. But in the 2000's DC Universe Classics produced a line from the Distinguished Competition that measured up and in some ways surpassed what had been done over at Hasbro. Mattel's line of characters from DC included all the heavy hitters, but also managed to fill out teams of rosters like the Metal Men, New Teen Titans and all the figures included in the original Super Powers line. It was an amazing accomplishment highlighted by sculpting by the Four Horsemen - a truly fantastic line of action figures. In this Mystery Box, we are going to take a look at some DCUC figures that have been trapped in the attic for years - and possibly pull a few out for display in the Secret Lounge! So enjoy an action figure mystery box in the Carbon Scoring fashion!
And here are some of the products we use in all of our videos and action figure displays:

Acrylic Risers: amzn.to/3AeHryj

DC Classics is easily one of the greatest toy lines. I don't think we will ever get a line with the depth of DCC
I think you are right. Can you imagine how many Batman figures we would have to get in order for McFarlane to come close to producing this variety of DC figs!?!
@@CarbonScoring McFarlane sucks
I agree, they are only good for sculpts@@sirmustardofhousemayonnais9907
@@Natewhite09393 new sculpts don't matter when the proportions look terrible
Yeah, I'm hoping Mattel or someone gets the DC license back eventually.
Love the DC Universe Classics line, I’ve been trying to collect the whole line!!!
Same 👍🏾
That Mr. Miracle is actually a very early DC Direct figure from around the early 2000s. He came in a 3-pack with Oberon and Big Barda, the Barda in that set was much bigger than the DCUC one and more in scale.
Loved this box,im a dc guy at heart
Got lots more DC content coming! Stay tuned!!!
@@CarbonScoring oh i will man, also love marvei, image and a lot of indie stuff so i do enjoy all the figs u show, just if my arm was twisted id have to admit dc is my favourite
The figure that looks like Mr. Miracle is Dr. Impossible.
Obsidian who did have a DC Universe Classics Action figure is the son of the Golden Age Green Lantern, Alan Scott.
@danielmaxshaw, Doctor Impossible? Isn’t he the anti-matter parallel alternate version of Mister Miracle?
Yes!!!
Just what I have been waiting for. Thank you Carbon Scoring. I wish the Flash, and Superman figure were there in this mystery box. Anyways, keep doing more DC figures as well as Flash and Superman figures. Keep up the good work!👍
I'm more a Marvel guy yet surprisingly I knew who most of these characters were. Love the full pummage on the vintage style Hawk Man figure and the translucent Green Lantern
7:57 I believe that's actually Dr. Mid-Nite? An old Justice Society of America character. He was also Starman once.
Good call - thanks
Started collecting action figs when DC Icons came out. So obviously,I did not like DCUC at first. As I have gotten older and read more DC comics. The more I like them. Because they just look like they came straight out off the comic book pages. Also the selection for DCUC is insane. From A-listers like DC's Trinity to obscure characters like The Metalmen.
They really do play on the designs from the 60's through the 90's - and they hit so many different parts of the DC Universe - I doubt we will ever see a line like it again!
Do you trip with you're figures? Imagine tripping with a live size scarecrow statue knowing the lore 😂😭
I don't really no much about DC but you taught me a lot more thanks CS
Always my pleasure - I'm not a hard core DC expert, but try!

I'm a big fan of your channel and I am sadden that my job causes me to miss your premiers but when ever I get a chance to hop on UA-cam your videos are first on my watch list and please keep up the great work
i love gentlemen ghost because he has invisible head sculpt
Perhaps the greatest head sculpt of all time!
21:27 very nice! I like!!!! 👌*Borat voice 21:55 when u high AF on shrooms and getta quick thought
3:37 Batman!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep! He got moved over to the Green Lantern box!
I believe obsidian is like Alan Scott's son?Not sure.
Love the video!
I'm sure you are right - I don't think I have ever read a single comic with that character
Shit like this my fav, mystery nostalgia. What id give to see my bathtub sized Tupperware again 😂
Amazing video love you and love DC Universe Classics
Thanks! I really appreciate it!
Que lindo, que ótimo que você tem esses personagens eu nem sabia que a DC comics fazia esses personagens . Gostei demais desse vídeo . Amei essa sua atitude de mostrar em vídeo.
Great Video.
I wasn't able to watch it when it premiered as I was at the cinema watching the extended edition of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
I was wondering where you were! What did you think of the extended edition?
@@CarbonScoring I liked it, there was only 11 mins of new footage, but the new footage was good and funny in some places.
To good don’t worry it is dirty
Thanks, I still gotta get them cleaned up, though!
Booster gold fig was sik
It's Al Pratt The Original Atom
Yes!!! That’s it!!! - Fun Fact Point Awarded!
@@CarbonScoring and a gentleman wins with a hot chocolate and marshmallows
Cool DC toys
They still need to make the rest of the Superheroes and villains.
DC classics is without a doubt Dc best toy line it competes with toy biz and hasbro marvel legends. Unfortunately they aren’t around anymore.
So true! On all accounts!
At least it has better size to compare with marvel legends than what we got with mid farlane
Lord Naga
Yo if you have any DC Universe Infinite Heroes 3.75 inch figures for your action figures collection. Please do a video of you having action figures from the DC Infinite Heroes action figure line.
Is that Mr Miracle from a DC direct two pack doesn't look like the DCUC version?
Probably - just ended up in the box
It reminds me of the character from golden age
26 hours i cant wait nooooo why 😭😭😭 why noooooooooooooooooo pls not live
Won't be long now!
Gonna share this here with other DC fans.. I often talk to people and they say that they can't stand Guy Gardener and I'm always saying "I love him!" he is such an Asshole and that makes for great reading. You think every super hero is a nice grounded well to do person? Hell no!
That's why I loved the Hawk and Dove miniseries.. Hank was obnoxious arrogant hot headed jerk when that story started and by the end Dawn made him so good in contrast to herself that they made for such an interesting read. But to go back to guy...
Do you know the best part of him getting knocked out cold by batman?
It's the build up to the moment, seeing him be a dick to Black Canary and Blue Beetle and Captain Marvel. Constantly questioning Batman and Martian Manhunter. He threatens and harasses every member of the Justice League International. And then that moment comes. Batman lays one down on guys face and you feel that moment along with the present JLI members. That's powerful writing.
Also F in the chat for Black Canary who doesn't get to see Guy get lamped..
This music is good
Thanks - my old roommate composed and performed it!
@@CarbonScoring cool
Coool
Fear = scarecrow wtf where is synestro scarecrow? Lol
Cool video! Do you have a Halo collection, if so can you do mystery boxes for each figure?
I actually don't own a single Halo figure...
@@CarbonScoring ah, you're predominantly a Super Hero/Comic Book figure type guy then.
One thing I can tell about the Halo toy lines is that they've been through four licenses. Joy Ride (which I don't have any from) McFarlane (my second favorite) Mattel (my least favorite) and the most recent license and my favorite, Jazwares.
Happy hunting my friend.
As always, I wonder if you are ever willing sell some of these Forgotten unwanted, and neglected Figures! Especially since they would be going to an Excellent Home! I am a 28 years and 5 months Collector, I have 10 Different Earth's, between 3200 and 3400 total Figures! Six DC Earth's, 3 Marvel Earth's, and an Earth Between with Heroes and Villains from the Past and Future! Despite having twice as many DC Earth's, I probably have twice as many Marvel figures. I don't like, and will not buy the current DC line except for Characters that are supposed to be bigger.
Previously I was manager and eventually owner of different Comic Book Stores for 24 years, and I read Comics since 1964 until the SJW PC garbage took over. I have done my best, but some figures eluded me. I still hunt for them. Just last month I finally got a DC Golden Age Guardian, which gives me an oddball 31 member Justice Society! So you see I am passionate and dedicated to the hobby! These are the Earth's I have;
DC
Earth 1: Justice League, Main DC
Earth 2: Justice Society
Earth 3: Crime Syndicate
Earth 6: a Kingdom Come style
Earth Watchmen/Earth 23: Watchmen style, Expanded with DC Oddballs
Earth Created Equal/Earth 23: All Female based on Created Equal
Marvel
Earth 616: Main Marvel, my most complete Earth
Earth 777: Older Toy Biz, Power Rangers, Customs, some new Stuff is creeping in.
Earth 818: Futuristic or Futuristic looking Marvel. Old Man Logan now leads the X-Men for example
Earth Between
Heroes and Villains from the Past and Future. Basically starts with Conan and goes to Kamandi. Some DC and Marvel also go there such as WW2 Sgt. Rock and Blackhawk, and the Invaders from Marvel. A 15 member Legion of Super Heroes and a 31st Century Avengers based on a What If? Are also there.
Dr impossible
Gotcha - thanks
I need a Golden Pharaoh
Can ya help me out?
I wish - I only have the one
@@CarbonScoring
Did you know that Golden Pharaoh
Is what Destro does on his days off
From cobra?
Yooo
Col
hi😁
See you tomorrow for the Premiere!
Did you just get into Comics and Collecting? Getting a lot of obvious Characters Wrong....
Yeah, I’m pretty new at this…
Totally missed an era of these golden and silver age heroes..... But if I only saved my allowances before literally I'd have those too hahaha
But since McFarlane is doing something like that eventually now that I have a job id definitely won't miss one
Now I’m wondering if you’re colour blind. A lot of the colour mistakes you made are the same one I make frequently. Are you by chance?
I don’t think so, I think my mouth just gets ahead of my brain…
Hey carbon scoring do you own any Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle action figures or comics?
I do! You can check out my display of Super 7 Ultimates in this video: ua-cam.com/video/nq9kaxwItEU/v-deo.html
Ok thanks
*Sigh* makes me sad this line isn’t still going. If only Todd cared half as much as those who spear headed this line.
