- One of the best runs I've done on any game to date!
This beats timlybrand1's mysterious score! So, no matter if his/her score is legit or not (highly doubt it is legit), this simply beats it, so, officially, this is the new world record!
This took so long and so much work and dedication! Luckily, I was able to do it before I completely burn out! It can be better, of course, it was not completely mistakes free, but, untill someone comes up with a better score (if, that is), I am super satisfied with this!

Love those Arcade plays :) They are BEST from you. Great video man😀
Thanks, man!
I know Badass 100% runs are hard, but this also masterful. You're very conscious of when and when not to engage, making sure that every hit results in at least one bonus, and plus you can't practice individual levels means ALOT of slogging through earlier levels to practice later ones. The fact you did this is still awesome to this day. Watching also made me learn more about the game:
1) The game recognizes that an enemy is burning to death by giving you the BLAZING award as soon as the burning death animation starts, yet doesn't give you the kill until the animation finishes
2) As dogs don't count as kills, they don't increase the Combo (but can still be used for awards such as Strike Bonus)
3) Normally when you are playing, when you might drop the combo, the Combo indicator starts blinking. When there are no more enemies in the area, it never blinks, it just ends.
@@broseidonrex9485 Thanks, man! Appreciated!:)
After playing this game quite a lot and getting (what I thought was) a respectable score (current best 890k on the Hoodlum Dolls) I honestly thought the top score had to be tool assisted.
Good god. This is outrageously good. And gives me some food for thought!
Thanks, man! This took a lot of work and dedication, though! But I love this game to death, so...
However, it's not completely mistakes free. 1,6 mil is definitely possible.
@@edgarector Since watching this I've tried to implement some changes to my gameplay (I usually use Anna and have wrongly been focusing on time for some reason), using John, rounding up mobs and trying to get as many chain-kill bonuses and weapons bonuses and it's not gone well so far! I've died a lot haha but it's a difference style of gameplay (I was trying to be as smooth as possible, kill everyone with as many weapons combos as possible and finish the level as fast as I can) and will take some time to get used to but I'm sure I can break the 1 million barrier!
I'm still shocked at how good your run was.
I give this mode a try after getting all activements and it's a blast
I always thought that time is what matter the most, for example, I can get 200k points in Sweet Angel stage by ending in 1:45s. Now, my chin just dropped on the floor after seing you getting almost 300k
FINALLLLLLYYYYYYYYYY ❤️❤️❤️
Crowbar strikes on sweet angel are hilarious
great skills!
Thanks, man!
Great game you got there! I am currently playing it.
I have a question that every time you play arcade mode does the enemy spawn randomised or fixed? Please reply
@@rudrakshwagh7064 Everything is absolutely fixed.
Absolutely amazing, my man!!
Thank you, my man! It took me one month to do it!
@@edgarector dedication & hard work always pays off in the end. I know the feeling when you finally get that score you’ve worked so hard for 🙂
@@wade2489 Yeah, the satisfaction is immense! Now, if only I could get more than 60 views, oh, well...!
Superb job, mate. Are you going to try the other gangs?
Thank you!
Maybe, but I want to give myself some time off, because this thing really made me close to a burn out.
@@edgarector Understandable. The Misconducts are manageable in Arcade mode, but trying a high score on the Heatseekers and the No 1s would take some time
Nice gameplay. But: where is this record registered? On steam? For all World Record Huntdown Arcade mode is mine via Steam
What do you mean? You have all the WR for arcade mode?
As far as I know, for Hoodlum Dolls, first two spots are some cheaters, or people that abused some glitches to milk points. Do you have a video proof of any of your records?
Yes, just look at the end of each Huntdown Arcade mode video, names like JEM (johncleiton and Metaller) or MET (Metaller, that's me). We are first. This via SteamGames
@@PeixariaRetro You mean, the videos on your channel? These are just no death runs, as far as I can see. There's no high score runs.
On Steam on Hoodlum Dolls the first two are SSV and xittam. They have respectively 9 mil and 2 mil. Their scores are not legit. Third place is Metal God with 1,6 mil. I think his score is not legit too, or at the very least, done with abusing some glitches. I don't know what you are talking about. Or, maybe there's a separate co-op leaderboard?
@@edgarector but for your run to be official you must register it on official channels, no? Steam, GoG, EpicGames, PSN etc.
@@PeixariaRetro Dude, I am in a discord with one of the devs all the time. We discuss many things, including the authenticity of these scores. I cannot directly register on Steam, because my scores are done on an Xbox One console. There are no online leaderboards there. We even think the first four scores on Hoodlum Dolls are not legit. The dev himself through it was impossible to do 1,5 mil. I managed to do it and have a video proof. I honestly don't understand what you are talking about you being number 1 when all your Huntdown videos are just no death runs with very low scores. Plus, I can't see any of those names you mentioned on the Steam leaderboard.
Are you bu any chance SSV? Because he is in the top spot with 9 mil score.
One question: why isn't this score listed on the global leader board?
Because, that's the Xbox One version. It doesn't have dedicated online leaderboards. Only the Steam version has one.
@@edgarector ah I see!
@@TedKeyboardify If you see the Steam leaderboard, you'll see a user named "timlybrand1" holding the top score with 1,5 mil. Mine is still higher, but we all (even one of the devs) had really high doubts this score was legit. I am almost 100% certain it is not legit, as "timlybrand1" only had, like, 13 hours in total playing this game when he made that score, and just a couple of achievements. I have played that game for almost 2 years, and I still needed a month of constant playing in order to achieve this score. My previous one was 1,4 mill. I think, it's just not humanly possible to achieve such insane score without an absolutely extensive knowledge of every single thing about this game, and a lot, and I mean, A LOT of practice! Hell, one of the devs even stated that such score is impossible. Well, I proved them all wrong, after hours upon hours of nonstop tries, until a burnout. I am glad I did, of course, since this score is truly a remarkable achievement (don't wanna sound braggy, sorry for that). But, anyway, thanks for acknowledging it, because only a person that tried it himself/herself can understand this achievement!
Arcade Mode is just such a better experience than Story in every way. Story mode seems amazing the first time you play it, but learning Arcade mode makes it impossible to return to Story. The world feels so empty, barren and quiet in Story after you've gotten used to Arcade. Enemy placements are less interesting and the weapon spawns are lamer.
Well, arcade mode is made for score attacking specifically, while story mode is good for speedrunning. So, the full package is fantastic, imo.
@@edgarector But story mode doesn't have BLAZING! BLAZING! BLAZING! WEAPONS COMBO!
@@TheSamuraiGoomba Hehe, you are right!
