I wish collecting all the stashes revealed a secret final stage where you go to Shimamoto corp and battle the true boss of the game... sheesh this game is too good I want more.
That'd be funny if they had a gun shop with a dead clerk and a plasma rifle in the back (Terminator). Or how about a secret nest of Alien eggs with a pulse rifle (Aliens)? Or break into a secret room at Nakatomi Plaza for some flashbang grenades or an MP5 (Die Hard)? The 80s has given us the greatest action films ever, and this game is one of the best tributes to that era, ever.
I play this game every once in a while ever since it's been released but I didn't run into those secrets. This video puts a huge smile on my face ^^ Just two weeks ago I watched Escape from New York with my wife :)
2 escape NY references... I was betting on at least one Leeroy reference on No1 Suspects zone. Although I'm pretty sure the Shogun's line "When I say who's the master... You say SHOGUN!" comes from the movie's final showdown...
psychonaught stage too in the movie theater you can see they have the last dragon DVD cover art up along with The Warriors only they renamed it the jokers. Their level of detail and love letter to the 80s and 90s is soooo good.

The last Bladerunner reference is not right - that was the whole point of the ending of the movie that Roy helped Deckard. He saved him. *That was important point - he was about to die, but was capable to save someone else. And he did, which gave meaning to his life.* But here Rick hangs onto the ledge while Roy does his speech and releases the pigeon. Not as dramatic :3
You're a beast, that's all right. As someone said: ...by proving he beat Deckard, catching him only AFTER he began to fall, Roy demonstrates he has free will, has true empathy, and is not a slave. I also really like this explanation. 👍

Yeah wish there was a better reference but at least Tom Sawyer does say “your move creep” and you can get the sniper rifle from the first movie in the Akira reference area

I think that you do need to complete it since at the Gremlin ones I'd reset several times in order to beat without dying, each one reacted to me finding the secret yet again... (It said 'Secret found' over and over again)

Hi Djddj, In the video description you will find all 6 secrets with the times and the film names. The secrets relate to different films from the 80's - 90's. The scene you mean is from the movie "Running Man", where Arnold Schwarzneger plays and strangles a hockey boss with a chain link fence. If you google the movies, they will probably look familiar to you. If not, watch all films in any case. Have fun 😁
Hi ant cow123, you can heal yourself in the game if you take the medicine bottles for examples. But if you mean the maximum hit points, you can change it if you change the level of difficulty. The easier your chosen level of difficulty, the more hits you can take. Hope I could help.👋
