Thank you for getting straight to the point. I love it
You’re a beautiful Kenyan lady. I’ve started my locs journey. Wish your Nigerian brother luck 😁
Lint is impossible to avoid, even when you wear a satin bonnet/scarf at night. Even more so if you wear you hair down and it brushes against your clothes regularly and traps dirt from the air. You have to learn to embrace the lint, and that part is hard. I think it also goes towards our quest for perfection.
Well said 🙌
your locs are so luscious!! you kinda remind me of lupita nyong'o with how you carry yourself and speak :D im almost 6 months in my loc journey and it can be very challenging with frizz and everything, and from the beginning i had to remind myself that comparing with others is gonna ruin the experience, but its definitley rewarding. ive been natural all my life and this was the best choice for me to love my hair in another, easier way. lovely video!
Thank you so much for all the kind words, it means a lot❤ And thanks for sharing about your loc journey, I definitely relate to a lot of what you've said
Try a microfiber towel
I love your locs. !!!
Thank you so much!!
Thank you for your video, I learned a lot about my locs. Now I know that my locs are okay, and I do need to do some research about what type of oil or treatment for my locs.
Really happy that you found this video useful!
Nice tips thanks for the heads up. I've been locked for 1 month now 😁
No problem, glad I could help!
I follow u cause U have the same bleached locs like that exactly there !
Nice! Thanks for watching the video!
Your loc are so healthy and beautiful. So full. How many Locs do you have?
Thank you so much! I have 67 locs
I really wish I had thicker locs. My locs are kinda small but they long and healthy. I’m trying to thicken up my roots because I recently bleached my hair and I dyed it back black and in deep regret about it. Any suggestions on how to thicken up roots? I’ve decided to freeform. So far 3 months no retwist and I have a lot of new growth and it’s definitely feeling thicker lol I guess I’m impatient
To promote hair growth/thicken roots I would suggest keeping the hair moisturized, not overmanipulating one's locs, and paying attention to what one puts in their body in terms of food and a good amount of water.
It sounds like you're already on your way to thickening your locs :) but I definitely understand that feeling of impatience lol
❤
what do you use to stop itching because my are itchy af even though i wash my hair 2 times a week and i oil it with tea tree oil
rinse your hair/scalp with cold water when you are in the shower for like 2-3minutes. this helped rid my scalp itchiness.
@@humblecoder1769 thank-you ill try that😁
I use a spray bottle and spray my scalp with water, sometimes I add a few drops of tea tree oil into the spray bottle.
My itching stopped when I stopped using black soap (too during for my scalp, body loves it)) and I stooped putting oil on my scalp and my scalp never itch. I use suave clarifying shampoo
Apple cider vinegar and warm water works
